I like Yumi but we really need Kaji Yuki for Adult Rudeus like they did for the radio dramas.

The studio put in a lot of effort with the made up languages, how they handled the Japanese language situation with Shizuka, historical accuracy to Medieval Europe architecture, but they still have a male teen with the same voice he's had since he was 5 years old.

Don't be like Naruto and Goku.

Sugita is still perfect for the inner voice.

I'd really like a va change at this point in the story, however I'd also prefer a lesser known VA for the role. Hearing Rudeus speak in the most generic anime mc voice imaginable would feel a bit weird.

Wouldn't be surprised if Sugita would be voicing adult Rudy. They have been keeping him for a reason. But I've also heard rumours about Hiro Shimono voicing adult Rudy.

Agreed. Love Rudeus's current voice but would be weird as an adult. Not sure if they will change it though.. Might be contractual as well

how rudeus looks in S2 is mostly how he looks in the entire series, rudy is already tall, he wont really change physically

ye a VA change is needed both in jp dub and en dub, no disrespect to the current VA's they've done a great job but rudeus shouldnt sound like his 5 y.o self, idk if the VA can change into a deeper tone

@Wat3rCrushertime he is taller in the ln bro, for comparison, in anime, elinalise is taller than rudeus meanwhile in the ln rudeus is taller than elinalise ( dunno if it important for you or someones who reads this, but for me it's important)
