Sure, they might be attempted a lot in various common settings, but they are always packaged in forms that are extremely lacking, like most of those characters being tsundere/stubborn/dumb or having various other flaws for convenience's sake. A character with all of those traits and the same time and done right is truly like 1 in 1000. I know this very well, I haven't seen any character like that that fits the proper criteria in a long long time. At the very least not in anime. |
| Kurumi is the only reason I kept watching DAL all the way through season 5. |
