Yeah I know his mana gelatin thing is powerful, BUT come one can the animator/author come up with a much better transformation than gelatin mana armor??! Changing the MC hair to yellow aka super saiyan or his eyes got change like ala sharigan, or his face got some cool tatoos like yuji/sukuna. anything is better than this gelatin mana armor! Did the gelatin mana armor look cool later in the light novel or it never change??! If it never change, Man This is the lamest Power up/transformation I have seen! |

| I like the slime forms. That aside, the Mc did not need a transformation given he was holding back most of the fight. She was heavily outclassed since the beginning of the fight. |

it doesn't have to look cool, it's super convenient and strong as hell. this show is more about the comedy aspect than the serious stuff your talking about. god forbid someone come up with a unique power instead of just copying what's already out there. like sure the author could have copied everything else and gave him whatever but what's the point of that, mana matter is unique and makes his enemies lower their guard because of how silly it looks. this is also the guy who dropped in with a power ranger suit, this isn't a serious show, it's a fun isekai with a super OP main character.

thats the thing, you not only missed the point of the fight but the whole anime, whole thing is that after everyone else gave everything they got main char wins with ease, if he had cool susano (which he kinda did but underwhelming looking one) or gear 5 or final getsuga tenshou,it wouldn't be in the character of the anime, the whole point was he doesn't want to be there he doesn't want to fight he doesn't care about anything there he just wants to fix his store meanwhile goddess had him do something else for which he got his trade so he had to do it right, but he didn't need to kill demons general since it wasn't beneficial to him to do so in any way so he sent him away he also let the smurf girl go away cuz he also didn't need to kill her meanwhile he doesn't care about humans aswell thus he didn't want to leave demons with less fighting force to combat greedy humans nor directly help humans if it wasn't part of the deal, so he kept hero safe while returning the favor of dragon girl and mitsurugi and taking his "revange" if he took effort to do so, it wouldn't really be in his character so jelatin susano it is which is also a very powerful and hard technique to do in their verse, so "not standing out" guy didn't stand out, shocking, and if u don't like that then this anime isn't for you. its made for people like me who like that stuff, its not to be flashy or cool looking, defeating dragon slayer while not even moving and bombing a city with bow and arrow from another city is cool af to me tbh
| @KamiYuzu dude if the mc is winning with no difficulty, then he will not use this so called "power up" gelatin susano! He use it because if he did not use it he will have more difficult time fighting sofia. (maybe mid difficulty) To be honest like I said the power ranger suite is more appealing than this gelatin susano! |

| Well... They wanted to find something that seemed crazy in the eyes of ppls in that Goddess's world... And so... they went with the Jelly Armor that's very uncommon and probably never been done/ seen before. In fact, this thread supports that fact. Cause it's so unique, it's seemed like a crazy random powerup. |

| I dont want to defend the show but I took it more like him playing around with a new ability he got, its not like he needed it. In terms of power up.. this show is very weird with its scaling. Yes he is stupidly OP, but back at the end of S1 Sofia and Lancer did injure him badly while this time it was no challenge at all, even though they were supposed to be stronger. I honestly have no idea where he ranks and also where he gets all this power from, he just has it but is too stupid to use it probably. Given MCs actions throughout the seasons him simply beeing to stupid for his own power makes a lot of sense.. |
