| A great start. Cid and Claire moments are always welcome. I just loved it when she told that slave seller "nah I already have my pet." lol. And Cid lmao he just copy/pasted Mary lines. |

| this show is so ridiculously, hilariously epic. it is like a parody of isekai pardies, but then it is a parody of that parody too. it is so self-aware of being parodical that it loops back around to being total unaware of itself and comes off as completely genuine and sincere. it is charming in such a way like nothing else, and that is what makes it wonderful so glad to have waited for the bluray maximum quality, and the budget is clearly at least doubled for season 2 |
| It was funny how he got lost soon after he had bickered with his sister 🤣🤣🤣. Claire holding someone’s head and crying thinking it’s Cid, and then throwing it realising it’s not him 🤣🤣🤣. I wonder why there are two similar names though — Mary and Marie. One is a vampire hunter and another is a prostitute. Cid mugged up the lines of Mary and goes around repeating the same. Damn, he likes those lines too much. Gosh, he sounded like a broken record for repeating on loop. |

| I've been looking forward to season 2, season 1 was just great. And it continues with Cid's greatness. The fact that he just copied the words from that vampire hunter without a hint of what they actually mean was so damn funny xD |

| The new OP by OxT is wonderful, I find it more enjoyable than Highest, instead of the presumptuous nature of Highest, this OP took on a more isolated tone with how it refers to Cid as walking a lonely path. But let's be honest here, Cid is a phantom with a supreme level of power who is also a dumbass with a fetish for great acting and roleplays. When Mary 'saved' his ass, the thing he did next was to replicate her actions and quote here word-for-word, even repeating it twice to that prostitute. He better step up his ad-libbing game, since he still considers everything to be smoke and mirrors, when in reality, everything as clear as the Red-moon in the sky. An okay first episode in this new season with an awesome entrance for Shadow in the midst of the chaos at the end of the ep! Seems like the lawless city would be an intriguing setting for the start of this season, a playground for the almighty. A clash between the British vampires and their hunters, a Japanese White fox and an Industrialist big guy, all fumbling and tumbling in one city. |
