 An official website opened for the television anime adaptation of Suzuki Makishima's Nihon e Youkoso Elf-san. (Welcome to Japan, Ms. Elf!) light novel on Thursday. The website also revealed the main cast, staff, teaser visual (pictured), and a teaser promotional video.Yuusuke Kobayashi (Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu) and Kaede Hondo (Majo no Tabitabi) are starring as Kazuhiro Kitase and Mariabelle, respectively. Staff Director: Tooru Kitahara (Rikei ga Koi ni Ochita no de Shoumei shitemita.) Series Composition, Script: Aya Yoshinaga (Witch Hunter Robin) Character Design, Chief Animation Director: Madoka Hirayama (Akaneiro ni Somaru Saka) Studio: Zero-G Makishima began writing the comedy novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in February 2017. Hobby Japan published the first volume under its HJ Novels imprint in August 2018, featuring illustrations by Yappen. The ninth volume was released in October 2023. Sumio Aono (Watashi no Oshi wa Akuyaku Reijou.) began serializing a manga adaptation in Comic Fire magazine in December 2018. Hobby Japan shipped the ninth volume in December 2023. J-Novel Club licensed the light novel and manga in English for digital release in January 2019 and November 2020, respectively. The eighth light novel volume went on sale in June 2023. | @RobertBobert I haven't read it yet sorry if I sound biased but lately his roles are usually generic male MCs in typical isekai shows. I was expecting something iconic like Re:Zero and Dr Stone... let's see if this show will be good as much as them. |

@RobertBobert I haven't read it yet sorry if I sound biased but lately his roles are usually generic male MCs in typical isekai shows. I was expecting something iconic like Re:Zero and Dr Stone... let's see if this show will be good as much as them.

He's sort of the male version of Saori Hayami, who played shoujo-like MC at the same time as charismatic, cold tsundere. I don't know, maybe the audience just loves them for their nice, distinctive voice as the protagonist. |
