in the last episode the manuscripts were written in japanese instead of englsih, so I think it's pretty much confirmed that she is a negator.
I like your thought process of ano refering to a sumerian deity. But for that statement to hold any water, you'd need more than one character named after a (sumerian) god.

It's "Anno Un" 安野雲 which looks like a name but is essentially just a homophone (same sound) as the english "unknown"

That's about it

Don't stop making these crack theories tho, it's always interesting to read, there's always a chance you'd get it right

idk anno uns gender even tho i read the manga it ddint mention it just mentioned name

It’s mentioned on several occasions that Anno Un is male.

The theory that Anno Un is simply the Japanese pronunciation of unknown is absolutely correct, but also Anno Un is literally year one in Italian. We all have to keep guessing unless it gets addressed directly by the writer.
