It being an anime original and the original studio had gone bankrupt (not A1), it’s very unlikely of it ever coming back, other than collabs (World of Warships).

A1 took up the project because of the Studio going bankrupt.

The producers involve the original group of people working on it (for anime original series), A1 picked up the movie while still having the main group of people working behind it, but they weren’t apart of A1. For the series to comeback it would need the original people behind it, to comeback.

A lot of the original staff that worked on it was a part of IMS.
