| I love coming back to this manga every now and then. It's like a game where I'm just reading to see how long the author can drag out confessions. 274 was my last stop point and it took all the way to 315 just to ask her on a date. Now to forget about this for another 4-6 months and hope it finally happens. One day I'll finally get to see Chizuru confess and I can finally fully drop this until it ends and just read the last chapter. |

| I'm saying this now because KanoKari was my breaking point with coming of age romcoms that go nowhere. This guy is baiting you. As long as there's money to be made and a legacy to continue, he will continue to bait you. He will bring your hopes up, and then drop you like glass from an 8-story building. That's how trash like Reiji continue to exist. That's akin to a drug dealer/maker who doesn't care if the drug turns you into a destructive zombie. Scum like him will lead you in with the hope that the shounen lead will get laid and lose his virginity. But, after 300 or 500 chapters and episodes; it'll never happen. The female lead will never "love" him or give him what his instincts wants. (And said shounen will be forced to change into someone unrealistic to himself and unrecognizable to a fault.) |
