I don't think Endou will ever catch Kaiji ... otherwise we are back to square zero. I can't imagine Kaiji going back to the underground it will be impossible for him to leave again. I think the next arc should be about Kaiji facing Hyoudou or Yoshihiro

That would be true if Kaiji decides to stop gambling completely

But he is still a “gambling junky” as they referred to him multiple times.

If this is the final arc I hope he will expose the entire organization and ruin their projects completely, but I don’t see that happening.

I hope that — if this is actually the final arc — Kaiji will quit gambling and starts an actual business with the money. For example he can start a casino or something.

A plot twist if they actually catch him and he goes into plays “final gamble” with the organization.

Something has to happen where Kazuya saves him. There has to be some sort of payoff to Kaiji saving his life or it was basically pointless. And speaking of pointless, good lord this series is so terrible now. The idea of a guy gambling with his life being told as him trying to get out of dangerous situations feels like a decent one shot or a way a series starts off before the author finds the real hook like 20 chapters in. The depths its take Kaiji down to are just absurd garbage.

I don't exactly know how this arc will end but I have the feeling that Kaiji & Co. will leave the country and the next arc will be located overseas. There, Teiai will send someone to gamble Kaiji something like money vs. chance to go back to Japan without being pursued.

I've got an empty space at my heart, and I try to fill it with anime/manga...

"they won a hundred million" it's not quite on point but man this random granny is somehow just as smart as endou with figuring out random predictions and assumptions on kaiji and getting somewhat close.

since i've just gotten caught up and for anyone who hasn't seen it yet, this is the most recent update with FKMTkrazy on their blog about the hiatus

fukumoto started releasing the new manga Nikaidou jigoku golf at the start of this hiatus, hence the research and no new chapters (most likely)
woo.

I like Közi a healthy amount.
