| Nice adaptation from the spin-off on LN, now everybody knows why Megumin is YunYun Rival, because Yunyun mispelled wrong friend (or chicken out). Cecily finally shows, Aleluia. |
| This anime gave value to both YunYun and Megumin. Komeko is so smart! I wish she had screen time in the 2nd half. KonoSuba is in general empty anime cause it´s on focused on to be a dumb/comedy anime, meanwhile this spinoff was more balanced and fleshed out. The male protagonist (Kazuma) from KonoSuba is specially annoying in my opinion, which spoiled most of my fun watching the main series - the movies/OVAs are in general enjoyable though. Chomusuke (the cat) I don´t know anything about her, so for me she was a random pet xD I was expecting her to transform or reveal herself or something but it didn´t happen >.< I remember she appears in the main series, but I sincerely don´t remember any detail from KonoSuba. I wish both demons were still alive (Arnes and Host); they were apparently good demons and I would dare to say that they were the ones I enjoyed most here. By the way, why would YunYun use sleep on someone who was -supposdely- already sleeping? O_O Then, when she used 'sleep' I thought "So YunYun actually knew Megumin was awake...", but nop... xD I would rate 6.5/10 if it were possible. I will round it up to 7/10 since I specially enjoyed the 1st half. |

| Not too surprising but they were able to defeat the demon, despite everything being so chaotic. A nice way to bring us to the point where Megumin joins Kazuma in season 1. Wasn't too impressed at the start, but this season definitely grew on me! |

| Host (like Arnes) deserved better, they are demons but they have more compassion that Megu has for Chomosuke goddamnit Overall great adaptation, hopefully they can get the 2 sequel Megu spinoff novels the anime treatment too once main series S3 is over, those are even more fun |
| Megumi actually care for yunyun is really surprising for me and how she give her food for komekko really show how she really care for other and it made me like her character now (well I thought Megumi is just an explosive head in the first S1), well about the demon I kinda feel bad for them and seeing komekko just alone like that made me sad for her too hope she can find a friend |
| This for sure was... something. I though I would have lots of fun while watching this, and while it surely has its moments I fond it more average then what I was expecting. It does get better at the end but having the Megu alone in an adventure with her sister wasn't any engaging. The other three Kono members really do the franchise justice, Megu is still as fun as always but this is just throwing her in a mediocre backstory fantasy anime. And yes the jokes/gags are flat! 5.0/10 I knew for a long time that Aqua was best girl... |

| As a Megumin side of the prequel story this was nicely done but at the same time it made it very obvious how important Kazuma is. Without him the comedy was just not up to the par of the main series. That said, the importance of explosion magic, the friendship with Yunyun, as well as other hardships were really well done. The dedication Megumin has shown definitely added some weight to her stubbornness with explosion only magic in my eyes. |

| Yunyun was almost on a roll after putting Megumin to sleep and trying to play heroine Wiz's spells technically did what Yunyun wanted, she didn't think it through though. Little Komeko lost her familiar? Kazuma and Aqua show their faces in full as we experience Megumin's introduction to the party yet again. YunYun casually meeting with Megumin's role model in the coach like it was nothing (though this is a world where interacting with deities is normal...). |

| Good not great. Not on the same level as konosuba either. Show was rough at the start and got gradually better when they were on their own. I say it's a nice companion piece to the show to add a bit more value and background at least for yunyun and megumin |

| Glad to we got to see Kazuma and Aqua's faces at the end, and it ended right where I thought it would! A very enjoyable series as someone who enjoyed Megumin's deranged explosion magic. Looking forward to season 3! |

| Not bad ,okaish at best .Can only fiddle so much with an one dimensional character made concrete in the main series ,backed probably due to the state of her family ,consequently her lofty goals.The things is the incessant limelight on her made it incredably boring.The gimmick can only work so many times . She can't fit Kazuma's shoes ,he is multifaceted and broke expectations every episode.Instead if this spinoff gave way for side characters to shine and tell their past and present it would be interesting.Crimson village is a place shrouded in mystery ,expected revelations after the movie but turned disappointed. One good thing came out of this is Yunyun and her wants,goals and relationship nigh worshipping of Megumin.Poor girl definitely deserves better. All in all would give it a 6/10 |
| Finally we see Kazuma and Aqua fully, a pity Lalatina wasn't shown as well. Funny how the demon talked about each one of them in a respectful way. I guess they all are actually talented, but their personalities are keeping them back lol First half of the show as rather mundane with weak comedy, but the second part really improved a lot on that, once they got out of the village. Yunyun left a better impression on me this time than in the other two seasons, Megumin stays on a close 4th place though when it comes to the gang. 7/10 |
| YunYun would easy win just with 2 spells paralyze and any offensive spell ;d Megumin is glass cannon so no change in normal fight ;d why they don't understand that? I think the part with onsen city was worst.. but it looks it was needed for the story explaining few things, like how that cult of Aqua became like that :D |

| Good episode seems okay. When Yunyun talk to that lady is interesting too. Megumin character development is going well. One last time explosion and it is done. |

| I’m kinda sad that Host died, he was kinda a good guy. Why Yunyun tried that, she thought Megumin’s plan was useless? Yunyun’s encounter with Wolbach is ironic, what’s the deal with the cat. And finally, Megumin’s encounter with Kazuma and Aqua, magnific. In the end, this series doesn’t have the quality of a Konosuba season, it was very lackluster in the first half, in the second half it took emotion but nothing more. |
