| Please Note - This is a Big-Read Sorry I'm still late posting this, But Like After Reading a wave of empathy hit me for Ren, This guy supported Nikoru for years only to be her last option and she lost her virginity to her Ex-boyfriend Sekiya and broke-up because she couldn't do long-distance with her Ex, But bruh, How TF is the fair ? And now she is probably just dating him only for her to Move-on, In IRL cases the girl/women mostly dumps guys like Ren when their Ex-e's comeback and Ren's fear is acceptable, I too fear the same more like empathy than fear for him. Ren doesn't deserve it. Firstly he is a social outcast as a whole and he probably in the whole series has the most low self-esteem and incredibly high inferiority complex. He probably thinks half of the things he's getting he doesn't deserve it. Ren is a outcast as whole because he doesn't even have any friends in his whole class his only friends are Ryuto and Ichiji who are from other classes. Secondly he is introvert and shy, see him saying even the "Demon Gyaru sheds tears" and then Nicole shouted at him and he got shit scared. Also coming to the point, now like I said how heavily this show runs in the favour of women. Just see Nikoru She fell in love with her Senpai-He Dumped her in 2 weeks for fooling around with other girls-They started dating again, Nikoru never forgot him (even after 3/2 years) and forgive him immediately-He dumped her again-They started dating again, because Nikoru loves him-They start dating again-She loses her virginity to him-Time skip-Her Ex (Sekiya) is moving-She break's-up with him because she can't do long for 8 years with him-Cries-Moves on -Finds a Sacrificial Lamb (Ren)-Now she has a divine englightenment that Ren was always by her side even though she rejected him and supported her, but she got this divine enlightenment when she broke-up and got lonely-They started dating (But she doesn't even see him as a man, Like he is just her rebound/sacrificial lamb whom she will use to get over the break-up with her Ex (Sekiya) and I highly doubt that she won't leave him when Sekiya comes back- Ren's fears are legit but she doesn't even try to re-assure's him and make him feel comfortable due to his low self-morale, Fuck she is just happy on her own accord and author indirectly convey's that this is just Ren's personal problem while Nikoru is pretty happy so he shouldn't be too worried.-Ren doesn't get anything not even her virginity. I don't think it's simping rather I have a more different or shall I say a mature perspective that he (Ren) just loves her unconditionally and that's why he even supported her with her relationship with Sekiya even though it sucked him to it's core. Also Like I said above Ren probably has the most low self-esteem and incredibly high inferiority complex and while being a outcast his whole high-school life like dude he had only 2 friends that too from other class. Now what does outcast mean ? When people don't accept you. So this is why probably he accepted to date Nikoru Firstly, He unconditionally loved her (Main Reason) so even though it was killing him in the inside he was still friends with her and supported her in her relationship with Sekiya. You might think he (Ren) is an orbiter but I think he is just not selfish enough for himself. Like most people because it hurts move on but he doesn't because he truly loves Nikoru but her on the other hand forget acknowledging she doesn't even see him as a man. Secondly, Because he is an outcast, so now he has an opportunity of dating someone who he loved unconditionally** and **feel accepted**, which he never was, ever in his lifetime but it becomes a shit-hole, one-sided and I just feel incredibly sad and sympathetic for Ren, **He Really doesn't deserve this. If there ever was a Simp it was Ryuto and probably Ichiji, Ichiji by-defination was a Simp, He went out with the girl he insulted him infront of everyone+ his only 2 Besto-friendo's. Sekiya Really won everything in his life and even the Rest of the Female cast Sekiya (Nikoru's Ex) Hot and Good-looking-Fooled Around With Bunch of Girls-Had Fun-Dated Nickoru-Dumped her for fooling her-Dated Nickoru-Dumped her for studies-Dated Nickoru-She lost her virginity to him-Dated Nikoru (2 Years Pre and Post Time Skip)-Went For Studies-Break-up with Nickoru-Now when he will comeback-Nikoru will breakup with Ren-Then they start dating again + He can still fool around with others in the 8 years timeframe. Nickoru Dated Sekiya-Dumped-Dated Sekiya, Forgave him for fooling around-Got Dumped Again, For study reason-Dated Sekiya- Lost her virginity to him-Dated Sekiya (2 Years Pre and Post Timeskip)-Can't do long distance, Break Up- Found Sacrificial Lamb (Ren)- Started Dating him for her own pleasure and let go of her lonliness-would breakup with him when she wants or when Sekiya comes back. Runa Multiple Relationships-Multiple Sex-Multiple Dates-Geninue Relationship (Ryuto)-Happy-Dates With Ryuto-Hurts Ryuto-Ryuto Helps Her-Kisses-Got her sister back-Improved Relationship with Sister and Mother (Because Ryuto Helped her). What does Boys get Ryuto- Some good things like his relationship with Runa but mostly nothing Ren Background Character-Introvert-Nerd-Outcasted-Low Self-esteem-Incredily High Inferiority Complex-Loved a Girl Unconditionally-Got Rejected-Supported her even though it hurted him deeply while Nickoru was dating Sekiya and even lost her virginity to sekiya-Got Hurt-Became a Sacrificial Lamb-Nickoru doesn't see him as a man-Bro is Traumatized due to the taught that she will leave him once sekiya comes back- doesn't get re-assured, still traumatized-Nickoru Happy, Bro still Traumatized with no-one to help. Bro got his heartbroken first, then got mentally traumatized when finally started dating. "They should rename this series to Boys Trio's Suffering Story : Girls were Happy, We were not." Ren should actually be the main character. But bro is background character hence it doesn't matter to the author ig. I'm not kidding but even Rent-a-girlfriend is so much better than the woke shit-show this series has become after Volume 5. If things don't improve I'm dropping this after Volume 8 even Reji Milks his series but it makes sense somehow. This is probably the worst LN I've read to date. If Volume 8 is shit again I'm selling all my LN as well. The amount of bias this series has towards women being able to fool around while the nice guys get shit treatment and end up being the back-up option. I won't be surprised in the next 2 Volumes it would be Runa by-mistakely cheating on Ryuto because she met one of her Ex and made mistake in the heat of the moment next we see is some drama-seperation-and Ryuto Forgiving her and them getting married. Ren and Maria deserve so much better, lol. Maria should end up with Ryuto and Ren should end up with someone better. Honestly Ren doesn't even look like a wuss unlike Ryuto (His Character design, not personality) and Maria is like Katou Megumi of this series Now coming to Akari and Ichiji Akari is allowed to have her type and so does Ichiji but the thing is she straight out rejected because of the reason she told being that she doesn't know him and etc. And now when he lost weight she fell for him ? This is what I'm talking about Superficial and Artificial. She didn't love him and accept him when he was fat and outcast but now when he looks similar to her idol she is crazy for him and somehow her friend group supports her for Falling for him because he lost all the weight? Love isn't about materialistic qualities. Just compare this with Shikimori isn't Just a cutie. Now Shikimori loves Izumi even though he is cursed with all the ill-fortune in the world, She genuinely loves him and accepts him for who he is and accepts his ill-fortune unlike Akari and Ichiji. Ichiji is an outcast he was never accepted by anyone he just has 3 friends who are like him he has low self-esteem which isn't his fault when one becomes an outcast having low self-esteem is directly proportional. |
