Best 3DCG looking anime?

Yes, it certainly looks very slick!


Theres also Paradox Live, 3DCG mocap performance, 5 episodes in, and its still a pleasure to watch. 4 insert songs already.



However, I must also draw your attention to Studio Orange, that made Trigun Stampede, because they also did Idolish7 IDOLiSH7 the Movie LIVE 4bit - BEYOND THE PERiOD.
The 3DCG mocap is brilliant!!!



Goes to show Sanzigen needs to stay on their toes.

Then I watch MyGo and D4DJ Allmix...where we got 3D mocap performances in almost every episode.

So I think Sanzigen still tops it. By light years. In terms of effort and quality. Especially in the effort.

This didn't age well at all.

If we count the episodes where Million Live had a upbeat live set (1,2,5,6,7,9,11,12) - that's 8 episodes out of 12. With HUGE elaborate set pieces like ToP!!!(ep1), Star Impression(ep6), READY(ep9), Dreaming and Rocket Star(ep11), and "LOL let's set the rest of our budget on fire" with the entire ep12 dedicated to a blow out live piece after piece.

Then there are other process heavy moments like the super intensive audition (ep2), dance traning (ep3), We Have a Dream (ep5), Umi's Ninja Warrior moment (ep7), Team7th's wacky dance piece behind Julia in ep11, and every time Akane comes on screen and does insane loony toons movements etc.

And lastly sort of static but effect intensive moments - Gift Sign (ep10).

Compare this to just MyGo and D4DJ doing band stuff which is mostly static and only needing animating instructment playing, pretty sure Million Live anime beats them in BOTH quality and effort by a long shot.

Shirogumi easily takes the crown for 3DCG idol anime with this one.
