Madam Cat's Walk! Dress-Up Playroom Task 1 of 5 in Kabo-chan's Adventure Series! How this adventure began... Not many people know that the witch herself, Kabo-chan, resides in the mansion. Friends with everyone in the mansion, including Van Ghost and the Magician, she is no stranger to the everyday people living here. From time to time, she helps out the people in the residence by cleaning the rooms, catching spiders, feeding the fluffy creatures, and other odd activities! Even though she has her own playroom filled with tomfoolery and other shenanigans, she has once again decided to keep her room closed. Why? In her own words: "It's a secret~★" Kabo-chan has for many years now seen numerous people come and go in the mansion during Maloween season and she has in the best interest of her own always tried to involve them in her own silly adventures. Never once has she uttered a word against those who leave a mess behind them before leaving the mansion. In fact, she doesn't even complain when she is the one who has to clean their mess in some of the rooms! "Do you know how hard it is to clean off the blood on the walls? Kabo-chan certainly does!" she muttered. This year she found herself with nothing to do and decided it was once again high time to explore the magical rooms in the mansion, so she planned to have the visitors do her chores for once! Imagine her surprise when she looked outside her window to welcome the helpers visitors and saw a bunch of pumpkins squashed by a chainsaw-wielding maniac, with a few of said pumpkins trying to roll into the mansion. "That won’t do!", she thought. I must find a way to stop this, otherwise I will have to do all the pumpkin clean-up myself and won't see any of the rooms! With nothing but her determination and you, a lucky pumpkin she found on the way, Kabo-chan set off to solve this mystery! In return for helping her, she will give you main candy and maybe even a bonus candy depending on the activity! These activities, that are split into five rooms and will continue until the end of the event, are accessible through the description of the club. No what are we waiting for? An adventure awaits us! Where we are now... - "Madam Cat! Madam Cat!" - "What is it, dear?" The dialogue begins as Kabo-chan enters her room. Madam Cat is one of the more popular residents of the mansion due to her career as a fashion designer in the underworld. Kabo-chan, who often assists her with all sort of things, always ran to her for advice. This year was no different, as Kabo-chan had planned to ask Madam Cat to give her something special to wear for the event; maybe a new bow or new shoes. Whatever the case may have been, it had to wait for now. Madam Cat raised her hand and introduced the guest next to her, before Kabo-chan had an opportunity to give her an explanation as to why she needed the attire in the first place. As per Madam Cat's rule, nothing can be more urgent than finishing the current order, so if Kabo-chan needed advice she would have to provide some help first! Our esteemed guest has the desire of becoming a cape-wearing musician, but is unsure what sort of musical item would fit him best. Now it is up to you and Kabo-chan to find the perfect combination of a musical item and a cape. Are you ready? Well, you better be or else neither of you will be rewarded! • Create a new look for our guest found in the template! • Don't forget to include the items mentioned above: a music themed item (instrument, clothing, etc.) and a cape! • Kabo-chan will reward you with a main candy upon completing this task! Rules • The items can either be edited or drawn on the character. • You can use the same apparel as other users! • Post the image in this thread once you are done so Kabo-chan can judge them! Template We're happy to announce that this year's guest is no other than John! Example Code Your text here!

Minha Resposta |

These activities, that are split into five rooms and will continue until the end of the event, are accessible through the description of the club. No what are we waiting for? An adventure awaits us! Where we are now... Kabo-chan would consider everyone that resides in the mansion as her friends, but amongst them are a few people that are very dear to her heart. Queen was one of them. All Kabo-chan knew about her was that she had a tendency of staying in her locked room and do her own activities, be it eating or work with... whatever Queen does, while avoiding almost everyone. Despite that, Kabo-chan knew that Queen had a heart of gold thanks to all the times Kabo-chan had helped her! Whenever Kabo-chan left her food tray outside her door, she would sometimes find these notes just for her, so she was sure she had a special connection with Queen. She also knew that Queen wore many pair of glasses, and everyone knows people with glasses are very smart, so it would come as no surprise that Kabo-chan would ask no other than Queen herself for more information on how to stop this pumpkin madness. Kabo-chan brought along a muffin to entice her even more and closed her eyes once she left it outside the door. When she reopened them, she found a note where her muffin had been. She eagerly read it only to see it was just scribbles with 2 words being repeated often... "Necktie or... Bowtie?" Kabo-chan asked herself. Believing that Kabo-chan had her clue to help Queen, she now motioned towards you and began running down the corridor! Kabo-chan will leave no pumpkin left unturned for this task! • Help Kabo-chan find someone with a necktie or bowtie! • Kabo-chan will reward you with a main candy upon completing this task! Rules • The character must exist in MAL's database! • The character does not need to wear the item at all times, as long as there is an image of them wearing it on one occasion. • Do not post the same character as the user right before you! • You are only allowed to post one character, if you post more than one only the first one will count! • Post an image + the database entry of the character in this thread and tell Kabo-chan that you found one! Where we are now... As the mansion was a mysterious place, it hid a lot of secrets from the visitors and residents alike. Kabo-chan was no different and had also learnt how to keep her own secrets. After seeing Van Ghost Sr. produce paintings upon paintings, she had tried learning how to paint well herself and turned one of the many rooms in the mansion into her secret base. She went there to think of her next move and but found one else but Van Ghost Sr. himself looking at her drawings. Kabo-chan never expected him to find this room and was very surprise to see him as he had always been busy with his art projects. He was intrigued by the so called "paintings" and were quick to provide her with one of his usual deals before she could say anything. Help him with his new paintings and he would offer her tips on how to become better at painting. Normally, she would have jumped on the offer, but there was simply not enough time for this as she had to solve this pumpkin mystery while also checking out the Maloween rooms. As if he read her mind, Van Ghost Sr. pulled a small drawing he had in his pocket of the Chainsaw Man. Kabo-chan was now sure he knew something that could help her and followed Van Ghost Sr. to help him, alongside her trusty pumpkin (you). • Guess the titles of the paintings! • Kabo-chan will reward you with a main candy if you manage to guess all the titles of one theme! • Kabo-chan will also reward you with a bonus candy if you manage to guess all the titles of both themes! These activities, that are split into five rooms and will continue until the end of the event, are accessible through the description of the club. No what are we waiting for? An adventure awaits us! Where we are now... You weren't sure how it happened, but somehow Kabo-chan was nowhere in sight. There isn't much you can do other than roll around, but traversing the mansion is certainly not an easy feat as a pumpkin. However, you knew you had to solve this and get back to your body, but knowing there was a maniac on the loose targeting pumpkins, certainly didn't make things any easier. "Oh the misery!" you thought to yourself. As you roll around the same corner for what feels like the fifth time, you manage to find Kabo-chan... Only that she's staring at a wall, intensely. Kabo-chan found this wall after a shy troll pointed towards a certain corridor before immediately running off. A carving akin to that of a crossword could be seen on the wall and Kabo-chan was certain that this was related to her mission of enjoying Maloween saving the visitors. She looks at you with a bright smile before pondering over random words that could fit into this carving. This was certainly not a crossword, no... • Help Kabo-chan solve this... Crossword? • Kabo-chan will reward you with a main candy if you manage to get 20 correct answers! • Kabo-chan will reward you with a bonus candy if you manage to get at least 25 correct answers! • Kabo-chan will reward you with an additional bonus candy if you manage to fully solve the crossword Rules • The crossword does not have a theme but is related to anime and manga. • Solutions requiring two words have no spaces between the words. (ce tea → icetea) (Correction, the solutions currently require spaces. Kabo-chan will update this at some point!) • Solutions requiring names will start with their first name. (Mizunashi Akari → Akari Mizunashi) • Send your answers to Kabo-chan! • Reply in this thread each time you have submitted your answers, even if Kabo-chan hasn't gotten to your previous post yet! • When resubmitting, please include all of your answers and not only the ones you're missing. • Don't forget to mention that you are resubmitting as well! • Please be patient, as spamming Kabo-chan's inbox will result in her revoking all of your candy. Where we are now... After all this thinking and running, Kabo-chan headed to the kitchen to get something to eat and catch her breath. She rummaged the fridge, but all she could find was some fresh pumpkin pie. She took a plate and sat down, but after giving you a look, she felt that it was probably not a good idea and put it back. Unexpectedly, a note appeared under the plate. “Well done! You proved your care towards the visitors and now you are only one step away from releasing them all. You are the only one who can do it Kabo-chan, because your name means pumpkin. But can you? Solve this bingo card and see!” Kabo-chan blinked once in astonishment and suddenly the note had transformed into a bingo card. She was so close to finding the solution to everything, but... she had to admit her pumpkin assistant was so cute rolling around following her all day long. She looked at you, smiled and thought she would decide after solving this bingo card. There was still enough time… • Search through anime and manga series for the items listed in the bingo fields! • Add those images on top of their respective boxes. • List the character(s) and/or title(s) of the series you got your image from. • Kabo-chan will reward you with a main candy for completing two rows on the bingo card! • Kabo-chan will also reward you with a bonus candy for completing the full card! If you lose/forget them, PM me and I'll send you what you submitted on your previous attempt). - If you are stuck, you can message me for a hint (the students need some sleep before another full day of festival activities outside of EST daylight hours, so any hint requests sent then might take longer for a response). But there seems to be some kind of message hidden inside the poems... ≧◠‿◠≦ ♥ How to Play ♥ - To earn some candy, it's your job to figure out the anime that are referenced in each haiku - There are a few references in the haikus that require either good Google skills or knowledge about the anime, so to all new anime fans, this is your warning. - The clues hidden in the haikus could refer to anything in an anime, from the synopsis to the characters to lyrics in a song, so Aiimee's Festival of Fear highly recommends only trying this game if you're a seasoned anime fan or if you've already gotten your candy and want to spend some time trying to get the first bonus candy Poem One: Arslan Senki (Hopefully) Pretty self-explanatory. The lines refer the synopsis, the character named Etoile and the characteristics of some of the main characters. Poem Two: Kekkai Sensen Each line references another English title addition to the franchise (see Related Anime). Lots of people were just going for the individual OVA or special but nope, I mentioned several so I just wanted the overall franchise. Poem Three: Mekakucity Actors Again, mostly just referencing the synopsis but the second line refers to the OP with Maria from GARNiDELiA Poem Four: Phantom: Requiem for the Phantom The first two lines reference the synopsis and the last is German for "Truth in Numbers," referring to the two MCs having German numbers for codenames Poem Five: Promare The first line references Galo's motto - “Only the soul can burn!" The second refers to Kray Foresight and the terrorist group in the movie The last line is referencing a lyric in "Ashes" by Hiroyuki Sawano, featured in the movie Poem Six: Kono Oto Tomare I was a bit of a dick here and made this one much worse. That's exactly what Class 1-A is putting on for us this year. They even handed out the disturbing music that they're going to play! Let's listen to these disconcerting tunes! (っ^▿^)♥ How to Play ♥ - You must find the manga that is hidden in the sheet music (and no, it's not Demon Slayer ;P) - This game is, as the name implies, incredibly hard. Whether you are a new fan or a seasoned fan, this game will take some creative thinking to beat - This is the type of game that the Festival of Fear recommends you come back to after you've got all the main candy from other rooms and are looking for something to do during the rest of Maloween because this might take a while Alright, I was a massive dick here and made this literally as hard as possible Hidden in the score are 9 letter pairs: FS AA BB GZ RV BT TU NP PZ (Click on the image to see where the letter pairs were hiding in the sheet music) Then, to decipher this, you need to figure out which cipher I used. Here, I used a digraph cipher, hence why 'di' was highlighted so much in the text. Once you determined that this was a cipher and that cipher had digraphs, you needed to google "digraph cipher decoder" or even "cipher with letter pairs decoder" and you would find this image in the image results: Once you then decode the pairs, you would find the answer: Song of the Long March 🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰🍰 The Logic Gates of Hell All hope abandon, ye who enter here For here lie the gates of hell That cause all to tremble with fear ORs, NORs, XORs AND XNORs NOT to mention NANDs These logic puzzles wait for you to come and try your hand You stumble through the pitch black labyrinth where you have been trapped for the past few hours, struggling to find your way out. You sense the oppressing walls brushing your shoulders on either side, making you feel claustrophobic in the tight corridors. There's only one thought on your mind, and it's to leave this godforsaken maze. All of a sudden, you spot what seems to be a miniscule, vague shimmer of light in the distance. As you paw your way forward, the light grows bigger and brighter, until you can finally identify the source: a lone lantern hanging aside a gilded tapestry. At the foot of the tapestry lay an ornate box with its lid sealed tightly shut. You first examine the tapestry and find some instructions on the wall hanging in front of you... Perplexed by the depictions of the bizarre creatures and the multitudes of gates, you ponder the meaning behind the instructions. You recall your hand brushing over metal fixtures protruding from the slick stone walls, but didn't think too much of it at the time. Now you wonder if they are the gates that you see in tapestry. What of the strange creatures then? As you ponder that thought, you decide to try your hand at opening the box. Surprisingly, it opens up effortlessly to reveal a pile of odd looking... cookies? You take one out and inspect it. It appears to be vaguely bird-shaped and a quick nibble reveals that it tastes like a butter cookie. Your culinary ventures don't last for long though, as you hear the sound of rustling coming from the distance. The sound grows louder and louder and you grab the lantern from the wall in fright. Just what in the world is that noise? All of a sudden, you see a group of furry creatures emerge from the shadows. Some are plump mochi-like beings, while others have spikey fur and glowing red eyes. These must be the chimimoryo that the tapestry was referring to! The chimimoryo had stopped their advance towards you, but they now stare blankly in your direction, almost as if they were looking past you. Or... perhaps they really are looking at what's behind you? You glance between the chimimoryo and the chest full of cookies, and an idea creeps into your mind. You grab an armful of the cookies and start passing them out to the chimimoryo. As they receive their cookies, they start bouncing up and down excitedly, unable to contain themselves. You bundle the rest of the cookies up into your shirt and head off down the corridor, looking for signs of any doors. As you're making your way back through the winding maze, you recall the instructions on the tapestry. The behavior of five of the gates were fully explained, but the remaining three have been left somewhat of a mystery. Based on the statements in the instructions, you wonder if you can figure out the exact behavior of these three gates as well... Now that that's out of the way, you can finally see if you can figure out how to exit this place. While you were figuring out the logic of the gates of banishment, wickedness, and resolution, you managed to find a few of the gates that were depicted on the tapestry. They were relatively easy to find with the light of your newly acquired lantern. It seems that these gates are your only chance of escaping this hell... Once you walk through the final gate, you feel a huge sense of relief when you see a bright light at the end of the corridor. You've finally made it out. As you step out from the dark corridors into the brightness of the mortal realm, you have to cover your eyes from the dazzling light all around you. When your eyes begin to adjust, you find yourself standing inside what looks to be a college lecture hall. You glance around at the crowd of faces around you, staring in your direction. "Hey, you!" The sudden bark snaps you to attention and you look towards the source of the angry voice. A stern middle-aged man glares down at you from behind his podium. "Sit down right this instant, I will not tolerate any further disruptions of the class." Obedient out of fear, you climb the steps of the lecture hall and slump down into a seat in the back corner. The professor resumes his lecture. "Now that we've covered all of the logic gates, I expect you all to be prepared enough to tackle the homework assignment for this week." Gates... gates.................. gates?! You sit up with a start. The diagrams on the blackboard look so vaguely familiar. Where have you seen these before? With a jolt, you remember the hellish experience that you just went through in the maze with the mysterious chimimoryo and the magical gates. So why is it that this lecture so oddly resembles the puzzles you just worked though? Jigoku-san: Gates of apathy, gates of contradiction? What a load of baloney. Let me lift the veil from your eyes and let you see the true nature of the world. "AHHHH!!! What are those?!" Surprisingly, the others students in the lecture hall don't react to your screams. It's as if time has frozen still. The only other movement in the room came from the professor, who was looking straight at you. You notice that two yellow horns have sprouted up from the top of his head. Jigoku-san: These are the true logic gates of hell. The foundations of any digital system. Pure and demon? No, there are only 1's and 0's. Cute illustrations of creatures passing through gates? No, there are only truth tables. The mortal realm is a colder place than you can ever imagine, colder than the depths of hell. As you suffer from a mini existential crisis, Jigoku-san continues. Jigoku-san: Now, will you be able to confront the truth behind this world? Bonus Puzzles Note:

Toilet of Wishes and Rumors You: The smell of musk and incense smoke permeates the air as you're walking down an endless dark hallway with innumerable doors on each side. The occasional eerie portrait seems to look straight at you as you try to ignore the spiderwebs that brush your skin. I really want to get out of here. I don't know where I need to go, but I need candy... where would I even begin looking? A sign down the hallway catches your eye, one that seemed to glow, calling your name. You move closer to see what it could say. Girls' bathroom? Is that where I need to go? Why would I look in there? You start to keep walking down the hallway when something in your memory flashes--the legend of Hanako, a girl who dwells in the third stall of the girl's bathroom and, once called, can grant your wishes... for a price. I'm worried about what price she's going to ask for, but... you stop and look at the rotting wallpaper that lines these hallways Things can't get much worse than they already are, can they? Maybe she has some candy she can give me. You: As you enter the bathroom, you realize it's oddly clean. Given the ancient state of the mansion, you'd have thought grime would have lined the walls, but it's completely spotless, as if it were cleaned thoroughly only a couple hours ago. You stop at the third stall and, clearing your throat, begin to call out-- Hanako-san, Hanako-san, are you there? A boy, wearing a school uniform with a design that seemed half a century old, floated out from the top of the stall. He... wasn't what you were expecting. Hanako-kun: Woah, how did you summon me? Normally that only happens to-- wait, no, nevermind. How you could doesn't matter, does it? You're here because you have a wish, don't you? a wide, mischievous grin spreads across his face You: Oh, you're... a boy? Hanako-kun: Yeah, everyone is confused about that at first. But enough about me, I want to know why you're here! He floats closer to you, still smiling playfully You: I-I don't even know, I just got lost here... I'm just trying to find my way out of this mansion. I need some sort of candy? Hanako-kun: Candy? Well, I suppose we could take from the mokke, though I don't think they'd be super happy about it. In fact, it might get ...dangerous. He gives you a teasingly scary smile. You: You stand unfazed. But uh... Don't you have anything else? Please? Hanako-kun: Hmm, well, maybe I can ask Yashiro for a doughnut to give you. That counts as candy, maybe, right? You: That should work. But... don't I need to do something to get it from you? Hanako-kun: Hmm... oh, I know! I won't ask for much, but could you spread a few new rumors for me? Rules: 1. Each rumor about these spirits need to be rewritten with new rumors, so they won't hurt the poor students anymore! 2. Each rewritten rumor needs at least 50 words and no more than 200 words. 3. The bolded object/creature in each original rumor needs to be in present in your rewritten rumor. 4. Each rewritten rumor needs to be harmless/benign, though it still can be spooky (i.e. a werewolf that used to eat people now just shakes their tents and scares them off), but it doesn't have to be spooky, but it still does have to be magical/mysterious. 5. Submit your answers via this form. 6. Please comment here once you've submitted your rumors! 7. The best rewritten rumor for each current rumor will be rewarded a bonus candy (So 5 bonus candy for the best rumors will be awarded in total) 8. There is a chance for another bonus candy that anyone and everyone can earn (details below) 1. Have you heard? No matter how sick they feel, no one stays very long in the infirmary room. Those who do stay too long—two hours or more—get really sick the next week, so bad they can’t go to school. No one has died from it, but a few have ended up in the hospital. And then, after the week is over, they’re completely fine, as if nothing ever happened, as if the illness itself were a ghost. Even so, it’s no surprise that those who get sent to the infirmary room either pretend they’re suddenly fine or pretend they’re so sick they need to go home—anything to not stay there for too long. 2. Have you heard? The piano in the music practice room is cursed. If anyone plays it, even just a couple notes, they become obsessed with practicing it. Even if they've had no interest in playing before, it suddenly becomes their life. They will stay long after dark to practice, neglecting friends, food, and their studies to practice and get better at all costs. If two people play it in a short time, they will physically fight each other over who gets to play it, going so far as putting the other in the hospital and getting expelled, just for the chance to practice. Their compulsion to practice doesn't usually last longer than half a year, but by then damage has been done to their grades, social life, and health. These days a plastic sheet lies over the piano in an attempt to dissuade anyone from even touching it for fear of what would happen. 3. Have you heard? There's a black cat on the school grounds that only appears after dark. If anyone gets to close to it, it scratches them with their claws, leaving long, dark cuts on their hands. These cuts itch get infected after a few days, no matter how clean the student tried to keep it clean. Now everyone avoids any cats they see on the school grounds, no matter how cute or gentle they seem. 4. Have you heard? The students in classroom 2C never lie. Every student that that gets assigned to the classroom soon finds that every time that they utter something that isn't true, whether it be a malicious deception, a little white lie, or simply a half-truth, the next morning they find cuts that represent the size of the lie. Big lies mean big gashes, little lies mean waking up covered in little, yet still painful, cuts. Some of these cuts have even landed students in the hospital. By the end of the school year, everyone is desperate to be as honest as they can be to each other for fear of what might happen to them. 5. Have you heard? There’s a clock in the library that chimes with a strange melody whenever it hits 8 PM, as the classroom is bathed in blood red light from the sunset. Those who stay late enough at school to hear this have horrifying nightmares every night for the rest of the year. Those who experience them become so disturbed by them, they avoid sleeping and become ghosts of their former selves, faces pale and gaze distant. Is it no wonder that these days, even during the nights leading up to finals, by the time the clock reads 7:55 the library is abandoned—a ghost town. You: Do you have any other candy? Any bonus candy would be nice. Hanako: Well, we don't have any extra... though the mokke might. You: Mokke? Hanako: They're little creatures spread around that keep stealing everyone's candy. If you can find them, I'm sure I can find one with some candy. They look like this: This is a small scavenger hunt for all the mokke! Mokke are spread throughout the Social Media Team's profiles. They could be in "about me" descriptions, profile pictures, recent blogs, profile comments, and maybe even in the favorite characters! The whole team has at least one mokke each, but some are more obvious than others! Remember to count them individually (a group of 3 counts as 3). Once you think you've found them all, let me know how many there are in the form given above. Those who get the correct number get a bonus candy! And the winners are (drumroll please)..... The winner of Rumor 1 is... Swiggy! You heard the deets on the infirmary room? Maaan, if you go in there, there’s a candy dish-- as you’d expect in an infirmary room, right? You look and it has all the good candies—you know, like Reese’s, Three Musketeers, red and pink starbursts and stuff. But once you reach for one they all turn into peppermints. I heard if you click your tongue in irritation once they change then they just all disappear. By popular request, we'll also include runner-up stories! If you were a runner-up and you want your story removed, shoot me a PM and I will be sure to remove it! Runner-up stories: Story by Red-Comet: Everyone dreads the infirmary room. Rumors swirl around the school that those who visit the infirmary room are missing for hours, sometimes even days. As one enters, the door locks behind them. Fluorescent lights slowly reveal a zombie who meticulously dismantles himself and gives a detailed anatomy lesson that last for hours on end. The trouble is that, when it removes its brain, it forgets what it is doing there and begins the entire lecture over again. Story by frack: Have you heard? They say the infirmary room at this school has magical healing powers. Ryouma's tennis elbow, Yuri's twisted ankle from falling on ice, and Kuroko's basketball-to-the-face-induced-nosebleed all went away within mere minutes in this miraculous clinic. Next time someone says something so ridiculous that I fall flat on my face, I know where I'm headed! Story by Haptism93: Have you heard? All the people who stayed in the infirmary room for a while report that they saw a cute little puppy right next to their bed! It appears out of nowhere, barks a bit, jumps around and is wiggling its tail as if it wants to play and make all the sick people happy again. Once a person feels better and was able to rest, it disappears and nobody knows where it goes! Some people say it's the spirit of a previous school doctor that wants to make sure that people feel better very quickly. The winner of Rumor 2 is... dir_ennoshita! Have you heard? The piano in the music room starts playing music whenever someone walks by...however, rumor has it that the only songs it knows how to play are Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and Chopsticks. The piano in the music practice room is cursed. If anyone plays it after midnight, even just a couple notes, they become obsessed with playing the ending theme for Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, Roundabout. They have to play the song at least 2 times, do a jojo pose and then say: “Is that a jojo reference?” To save yourself from the embarrassment, make sure not to play that piano. Story by Pepper179: Have you heard? The piano in the music practice room is cursed. If anyone plays it, they become cursed with only hearing piano music for a day to a month depending on how long they played for. All they can hear when they listen to music during that time is the piano part. This does not harm the student, but is rather an inconvenience. If they listen to a song that has piano in it, they can only hear the piano. If they try to listen to a song without piano in it, they hear something similar to a piano cover of that song. If they try to sing or play another instrument, the timbre sounds like a piano. Luckily, the curse can be broken! All the student has to do is go back to the music practice room, sit on the piano bench, and play another instrument for 3 hours straight. Therefore, if a student has an upcoming band concert, for example, they just have to dedicate three hours to playing another instrument for the music spirit. These days, a plastic sheet lies over the piano in an attempt to dissuade anyone from having to go through the trouble and mental tax of only hearing piano music Story by pokemonvortex: Have you heard? The piano in the music practice room only plays one note. As in, all the keys are tuned the same note: F. They’re all of different octaves, but every key just plays an F. It only seems to happen when only students are in the room, as it starts playing normally whenever the music teacher is in the room. Any attempts to tune the piano don’t change which note is played, and all it does is make the piano out-of-tune when it plays correctly and the piano teacher mad as a consequence. The only reason students use that piano anymore is to get a laugh out of playing a single note by pressing all of the keys. Story by pokemonvortex: Have you heard? A few nights ago, the newcomers from class 1A came to school at night to play and wander around the school corridors and rooms, but while they’re playing one of the students there heard something in the music practice room and went to take a look. There, he saw a majestic looking girl, wearing an white dress playing the piano peacefully, that’s the last memory he had before falling asleep, the others saw him sleeping and when they came to check on him, they heard the piano too and so all all of them fell asleep. All of the students were later found sleeping in the corridor right in front the music practice room and they weren’t mad for getting scolded, because they said that the melody they heard was the most beautiful and mysterious thing they’ve ever heard. That night they had the same dream where they were laid down on a grass field and were feeling ultimate peace while the clouds passed on the blue sky, it was like the misterious girl playing the piano put them into a deep sleep to dream that exact dream that night, they will never forget that. Story by Daisuki: Have you heard? Anyone who plays Chieko Kawabe's "Sakura Kiss" at the piano in the music practice room receives a love confession letter in their shoe locker the next day. The letter always contained the sentence "Kiss Kiss Fall in Love" being surrounded by a border of hearts. These are not just any hearts either. They are painstakingly hand-drawn, every single one. The strangest part is the sender never shows up in person, like they just wanted to send the receiver a letter but expect no answer. The winner of Rumor 3 is... BeardedGingers! Many years ago, a boy jumped from the roof of the school building. Since then, others who have gone to that spot with intention to jump are met by a black cat who meows until they go back downstairs, but if they jump, they wake up unharmed on the ground next to the corpse of a black cat. They say the cat is that boy using his nine lives to give them another chance. Runner-up stories: Story by Swiggy: There’s this black cat on campus that just straight up coughs up a hair ball whenever you get too close. I mean, I don’t know much about cats, so I saw it but thought it was in trouble. It coughed one up and then it suddenly started speaking and offered to sell it to me for fifty bucks. That's super expensive, right? Like, it was a really hard sell too. It was saying it only produces a few of them and that I’d be a fool to pass up the deal. It even said it’d be good proof for if I was telling anyone this. All that being said… did you want this thing? It's kinda gross. Story by Alder8: Have you heard? The school custodian apparently found a litter of black kittens stuck under some broken tiles in the old, out-of-order outdoor change room. Apparently the building hadn't been cleaned in over a year, and the custodian went to clean it when a black cat came up and scratched him. At first he was freaked out, but the cat kept nyanning at him, so he followed it into the toilets where it led him to a hole in the ground where some kittens were stuck. Apparently they were suffering from malnourishment and were very dirty from being stuck in there for a while. He got them fed and cleaned up, but afterwards, when he was looking for the black cat that had led him to the kittens, he couldn't find them. No one has seen that cat since, but the school has kept the kittens, and people that pet them are saying that their stress, pain and even cuts seem to just go away. Story by AnxiousMike: Have you heard? There is a black cat on the school ground that only appears after dark. If anyone stays long enough near the cat, the cat would eventually lead them to dark passage outside of the school ground. You'll find yourself standing in front of a candy shop. Inside is a old woman with a witch hat who greets you cheerfully. There are candies of all kinds in that shop. When you try to find that shop during the day you'll have no success. The shop only opens after dark and only during October. Story by _DayBreaker: Have you heard? I used to have a black cat. It was the most perfect cat ever. He wouldn't destroy furniture, he used his litter box, waited for us to feed him... We were really impressed by him because we had some cats that all they did was give us trouble. Basically he was a good cat. But one time out of nowhere he just stopped. He wouldn't do anything. Just stayed there like a figurine. We wanted to take him to the vet but it was to late. He was now a porcelain cat. Maybe it was us that turned him that way because we thought he was perfect in comparison with the others. After 15 years he still looks like a perfect cat. Story by AliceSeaward: Have you heard? There's a black cat on the school grounds that only appears after dark. If you let it put its paw on your skin, it leaves a fluorescent paw print, that lasts four days. They say that the night the paw print disappears, you can see a bright light and hear strange noises outside your window. Some say they even saw a spaceship lifting off. But people who look for that cat can never find it. In fact they can't find any black cats at all. The winner of Rumor 4 is... Jobby! Have you heard? But thats when I looked at the teachers table and saw a little snail. Maybe getting taught by a snail is making them really slow. I wonder what would happen if I asked for a teacher cheetah... I might not be late for my classes anymore. Story by itsKJlol: Have you heard? The students in classroom 2C meet on the rooftop every day after school and stay there till late into the night. It's impossible to try and see what they are doing because they always make sure to lock the door behind them. If you ask any of them what they do there every night, they simply answer with "It is our duty to appease them, do not worry yourself" and never elaborate. Story by coffeedrops: A wise man once said, people lie when they tell lies. The students in classroom 2C always lie. The girls lie, the boys lie and everyone and everything in between lies, even the pet lizard in the tank sitting by the window lies. I arrived at school this morning to find 30 odd kids piled in a heap at the middle of the playground, and went over to lie with them. Story by Shockwaeve: Have you heard? The students in classroom 2C love writing challenges. They specifically love to take on magical re-write challenges which appear on the classroom blackboard. The mysterious prompt gives them harmful rumours to re-write into harmless ones. Those who do well find that it is raining candy in their backyard. The winner of Rumor 5 is... fluffycow17! Rumor has it that if you hear the clock in library hitting 8 o'clock, every dream you have in the next year will take place in Clockland, where everything's a clock. The people are clocks. The dogs are clocks. The clocks are clocks. It isn't scary since this is a dream, and you don't really question it. A clock hands you another clock, and you say "thanks for the food, mom". The worst part is that when your real alarm clock goes off, you think it's from Clockland, and you don't wake up. As such, oversleeping is quite common, so everyone avoids being in the library at 8, especially around finals time. Runner-up stories: Story by zeclaris: Have you heard? The big grandfather clock in the library chimes with a strange and haunting melody when the hands hit 6 PM. Those who stay late to hear this tune are said to see shadows staring at them from the shade of the tall bookshelves, moving closer and closer the later it gets. If you find yourself in the library at this time, don’t fret! They’re harmless, and they shoo you out of the library berating you for studying for too long and your poor sleep schedule! Story by w8negami: Have you heard? There’s a moment when clock in the library emits a very pleasant melody and suddenly begin to go in the opposite direction. And then suddenly one mysterious man appears. This is a man of very pleasant appearance, he’s dressed as an 18th century gentleman in England. He smiles very gently and gives you the book in silence. Just a fairy tale in which you don’t see anything special, but after reading it you find a comfort that you’ve never felt before. The fairy tale is filled with a hidden meaning that the author put in a very simple at first glance story. When you look up, a gentleman that were silently drinking tea in front of you looks in your eyes, and slowly nods, letting you know that everything will be all right now. After that you will hear that pleasant ringing of the clock again, at the end of which the last thing you will see before time goes on again and everything dissapear is him sadly smiling to you. People say that he appears only at a really difficult time for them Story by Enivlens: They say that the clock in the school library, precisely at 8'o clock every night, chimes a special chime unlike all the rest... A jingle with unique melancholic rhythm telling of the almost forgotten past. A long time ago, there was a student who loved to read, so wrapped in the captivating stories of her books that she wouldn't notice the hours that passed... Often she would leave in the dead of night, unaware that it was well passed time to head home. To keep her from losing track of the time and having to tread in the dangerous dark of the witch's hours, the clock changed its jingle for the hour of 8 so that she would take notice of the gorgeous rhythm, notice the time, and safely take nearby bus home. Even after the girl had long been graduated, the clock continued to chime uniquely at 8'o clock each day, without fail. So reminiscent, the spirit of the clock... I'm sure that if you read your manga in the library until 8'o clock now, it'd be happy to play its chime for you, too. Story by V-O-I-D: Have you heard of the clock in the library that chimes with a strange melody whenever it hits 8 PM? When the classroom is filled with blood red light? I heard that the clock is actually silent at this time. The strange melodies are coming from the music club. No, there weren't students around at that time. These sounds are coming from creatures practising their instruments. Creatures like skeletons, ghosts, witches and even bats. That's why the time the clock reads 7:55 the library is abandoned like a graveyard at night. It's because we should not interrupt them. They don't have a place to practice other than this. If we are around they won't come out. They're shy. But if you want to listen: Try listening from the main entrance ;) Story by V-O-I-D: Have your heard of the clock in the library? Don't dare to look at it when it strikes midday or you'll freeze. Everything around you will begin to grey and fade, until there is nothing left but you, the clock and a drawer beneath. As you stare frozen at its face, four thin fingers will poke out as the drawer creeks open. A thin man rises out from the abyss, smiling. From the tips of his ears his grin stretches far and thin, with a row of pristine teeth underneath. Those frozen can only watch as he glides over, gleefully dancing as he does. With each stride closer is smile warps and deforms, some swear it widens to the back of his head. Then he stops, his face directly ahead, a deathly smile and two eyes, black as pearls. "Smile" he says, his fingers stretching out their mouth. Nobody remembers anything after that, but they somehow feel much brighter. They all have a spring in their step, and even in tough times will at least try to smile. To the winners, here are your candies: Thank you all for playing! It was tough narrowing it down and choosing a winner, some of these were really close! I hope you all enjoyed! See you next MALoween |

MALoween✟Mansion 2022 Rooms Resident Rooms Mangaka School As you walk through the mansion's hall looking for Seiyuu School, you stumble upon a mysterious small door. Brimming with curiosity, you open the door with little to no hesitation. You are greeted with what appears to be a small and normal classroom: neat rows of desk, a clean blackboard, and... manga. Thousands of thousands of manga all over the room, filling nearly the entire floor. Upon taking a few steps inside, two ghosts magically appear in front of you. "Everyone keeps skipping our class to go to Seiyuu School instead. As expected from anime-only watchers." "But nonetheless, we're very happy to see a fellow manga enthusiast!" "Come here, and let us tell you all about your favorite series." "Don't be so hasty, you need to be a manga expert before venturing outside!" "But don't worry, show us that you're knowledgeable enough, and we'll let you skip class!""We'll even give you candy if you get a passing grade." "You can even have up to two more if you truly impress us. So go ahead, show what you're made of."With seemingly no other way out, you reluctantly sit down at a desk. The ghosts proceed to slide a paper toward you. "Look at this manga. Can you tell who drew this?" It will not matter how many times you decide to re-read, use conversions, or make futile attempts to decode your assignment. Prepare yourself to give in to my grasp; you will succumb to complete darkness and endless torture. During my previous visit to the mortal realm, I collected a total of eighty-five human souls, that upon arrival, were locked away in my personal chambers for my own amusement! But the problem with fickle souls such as yours is that they eventually perish from continuous torture. So, I sometimes have to come back to the mortal realm to retrieve more souls, and that day is today. Fortunately for me, I still have a reasonable amount of amusement left in my chambers—a staggering sixty-four souls remain! Although, if they were all fresh enough to keep me pleased, I would not be here retrieving more, would I? I have experimented with fickle beings such as you for a long time in order to create the most pleasing experience for myself, while being the most horrendous toward you. After countless trials and constant errors, I finally came to the following conclusion: six souls have to be tormented simultaneously, creating a hexagon. After all these experiments in search for the perfect formula though, I have basically destroyed my entire supply of fresh and feisty souls. This is why I have resurfaced and am in need of more toys. More than forty-seven of these souls will soon perish—unacceptable! I cannot allow myself to go a day without entertainment, especially now that I have finally perfected the most joyful method of torture. <~:,5Oi9kmNZ:./*.:23XP9km"09mUS1:..Z-:3oZK9eoR"=]%=F~> PART TWO: While the majority of souls left will soon perish, twelve of them are still in pristine condition. The best part of these special souls is that they all knew each other while they were alive in the mortal realm! So, I have been saving them for a few decades until the timing was just right. Meanwhile, I have been speaking with them separately in order to get them to spill each others' deepest fears, regrets, and weaknesses in exchange for a lighter punishment (which I obviously will not grant for any of them). Then when the time is right, I will use what I have been provided to give them all the special experience they actually want. 12: 10, 12: 4; 12: 10, 12: 3; 12: 4, 12: 10, 12: 1, 12: 5 PART THREE: The pleasure I have been granted has been quite the luxury with the torment of the soon-to-be perished forty-seven souls. Though I will never be completely content—no matter the amount of collected souls—or be pleased enough to never witness the despair of a soul again, this cycle will continue until there either are no more humans or I perish. While my current record of number of collected souls is eighty-five, I will top it this time around to avoid having to resurface too soon. It is still quite pleasing to think about all of the current remaining sixty-four souls—even if the majority of them will soon perish. Some of them will not be receiving the pleasure of termination; I will not personally continue to torture them, but they will instead be placed in limbo for aeons. The fate waiting for eighteen of these souls will be complete and utter darkness, where they will constantly gasp for a breath of air that will never come, all the while being conscious and left with only their thoughts as company. It will not be as pleasing as personally torturing them, but knowing that they will be conscious in limbo with no end in sight is also rewarding in its own way. It may sound as if limbo is worse than being tortured, considering the span of time they will be there, but there are several pieces of critical information that have not been disclosed yet. Time flows very differently in the space where I execute the torture. While the actual torture may only endure a few years, it will actually feel like aeons. The reason why all forty-seven souls are close to perishing is because the sub-space they are placed in drains their life force. While in limbo, they simply are. Limbo does not drain their life force, so they will be there until their minds are corrupted. I have only placed thirty-two souls in limbo in the past decade to avoid taxing my powers on something I will not even be able to witness myself. It is a special occasion though, since I will soon be receiving more toys. "kOf$4?Om" - "TEJIRQ==" - "x#r&a$z%x&llllll" Bonus Assignment If you are thinking that I do not have a shred of empathy and I completely lack morals, then you are correct. It is amusing though, especially when I phrase it bluntly like this: I am a completely immoral and an evil being; humans like to twist my words and take everything I say as some sort of guidance. Some see me as a sort of governing entity that is there for them at all times. Mortals have a tendency to quote everything I say; they have even begun making lengthy texts on printable paper to more easily distribute their holy texts. There was even one human that dedicated a large portion of their time in the mortal realm to write a book based on previous appearances I made. This human spent forty-five years on gathering information and writing this book. By the end, it had a total of three-hundred eighty-four pages. The amusement I gained from witnessing that human's utter agony and despair when he realized that the one entity he dedicated his life's work to did not care in the slightest about any of it was exhilarating. Upon receiving his soul, I was completely ecstatic. The emotion that followed was pure ecstasy. If you are thinking I should just experience all of this myself instead of dooming mortals, you are not wrong; I started experimenting on myself before moving on to humans' souls! It is all to seek the most horrendous torture of all! I am simply sharing this wonderful experience of despair with you. The only difference is that I will not perish or corrupt my mind from something so joyous. Chip or Cheat: Dice Tap Despite going through the darkest parts of the mansion, you found yourself at a dead end. You were extremely worn out from your fruitless venture and wanted to refresh in any way. As if the mansion knew your thoughts, you heard water drop from the ceiling. Using your flashlight, you followed the pipe with the water leak and cleared the cobwebs that blocked your way. Then your flashlight ran out of battery, great. Fortunately, there was a faint sound only a few steps away. Curiosity then killed the cat. You entered a slightly dimmed room and discovered that the sound came from the faucet. On top of the faucet was a round mirror, and below was a round sink. You tried turning it on for water, but nothing came out. It seemed like something was stuck inside, so you tried sticking your pinky finger in the faucet. After pulling your pinky out, a die dropped down the sink and went down the sinkhole. You started to feel like it rained a bit, then it was raining, then you were underwater—until you drowned. You wake up wet inside a four-cornered room, feeling slightly drowsy. A small fist bumped your head, and you turn around to see a small floating goblin in the room. Dokkaebi: Keep your head straight! You'll need that brain of yours. You: Where am I? MALoween✟Mansion 2022 Rooms Resident Rooms Seiyuu School IV You enter one room of the mansion and are surprised to see what seems to be a small classroom—with blood everywhere. Immediately sensing danger, you go to back out again...! But it's too late. *click* The door slides shut and locks behind you. With the thin light coming through the windows, you make out the figures of two girls. As your heart pounds in your ears, you can just make out their mumbled exchange. "Do you know that more people have OkaNobu as a favourite than Sakurai?" "No way... I refuse to believe." "Yep, 18.9k more. How is this possible?" "I guess some people add seiyuu to their favorites based on a single character, without really knowing their voice or acting skills." *sigh* "Well, that's the reason we started this school after all. And look, we seem to have a new student." The hair rises on the back of your neck as their slightly mad gaze turns to you. "Don't stand there, shivering in the corner. Come now, take a seat. We'll try to find you a desk without too much blood..." Hesitantly, you take a seat, too afraid to go against them. Looking quickly back and forth between the two, they smile at you kindly—and almost horrifically. "Nee~" they whisper in unison... Solutions (Waifu IV) Song Set
*Mistake regarding Hayamin's song: A kind user had brought to my attention that the initial clip which I had recorded was actually not Hayamin, but the demo singer for the song! I was able to record the corrected version the next day after I released the Song Set. Apparently the actual version was replaced on Spotify two weeks later after they had released the wrong version with the demo artist, but I had already recorded the section that I wanted to use for MALoween before that was fixed. In my defense, I only listened to the song in my car, and once on speakers to record the clip 😔 I had initially thought it didn't sound like Hayamin, but didn't question too much because it was an official upload. I did think it was weird when I could suddenly hear Hayamin "more" (again, always on my drive to or from work), and just shrugged it off with the reasoning that maybe I had listened to the song so much that it finally started sounding more like her. In hindsight, that's actually hilarious! But I'm also embarrassed that I used the wrong recording, and had given false information to the people who tried the Song Set before I fixed it. I would like to apologize >_< ------------------------------------------- Set A

Final DeathiNotion III: The Prime Finale ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Final DeathiNotion III is now closed Read Me!: The goal of this room is to save the world from anime characters by using the Death Note. This is a game based off Death Note and other popular anime, so it will require basic anime knowledge. This room will be open from October 25th at 20:00 GMT until October 27th at 23:59 GMT. Calculate your time zones accordingly. Ryuk came to you and gave you info that anime antagonists were attacking. He gave you a paper of the Death Note with clues on it in regards to which antagonists were attacking. He even said there was an evil mastermind behind the attack. After solving the clues, you also figured out that Ryuk was the mastermind and killed him using the weapon he gave you. But that was only the beginning. There was a deeper mastermind all along manipulating Ryuk from the shadows. The real mastermind has finally decided to deal with you personally. The new mastermind, who was hooded to hide his identity, brought another slew of anime characters, this time protagonists, to destroy your world. However, he gave you the same chance of defeating them as Ryuk did. After much effort spent pouring over every word of each clue, you also discovered that the mastermind of the game was none other than anime-prime. While that may have seemed to be the end of the story, there was actual a much darker secret about the true nature of the game, and you are about to be given your final chance to reveal the actual real mastermind. Story: On a breezy Autumn afternoon, while out on your daily stroll, an object falls out of the sky and drops in front of you. You pick it up and see that it is a Death Note. Suddenly, you hear a whispery voice in your head conveying to you dire news. Eighteen anime characters have been summoned to your non-fictional reality against their wishes and their bodies and powers aren't fit to be in your world. Thus, they will blow up very soon and take out entire continents with them. All seems lost! Thankfully, the whispery voice explains that the only way to stop it is to use the Death Note and write their names in it. There are already clues that have been written in the Death Note for each character to give you a chance of getting it right. This will be your toughest challenge yet. To win and survive is inconceivable, yet perhaps you may accomplish the impossible. If you manage to survive, this time you can also keep the death note as a trophy of your success. You possess all the knowledge of what the Death Note can do and know how to use its power. However, this Death Note has been given a power boost for the sake of this game and now has the power to affect even beings that aren't human and beings even with immortality of any sort. All you need to do is write down the characters name. There is a problem though. You don't know who the specific anime characters are. There is only one way to figure out their identities. The mysterious mastermind was kind enough to write down general hints and specific hints on the page about the characters. Write the specific character's name by each of the affiliated hints in order to kill them before they blow up and kill you and the rest of the world. General Hints: 1: One character per series. 2: None are the same characters as previous years. 3: They are from anime only. No characters that only appear in the manga. More hints might be given in the discord board if they are required. Specific Hints: Examples of a specific hint: Prosthetic arm made of metal Mom died when he was little Father left long before Brother physically lost more Answer: Edward Elric (Just an example) A man wished upon a star, What resulted was quite bizarre. A whole steamroller he has curled, He has control of the world. Answer: Dio Brando (Just an example) Lone survivor of his clan, so it's claimed, Toward him, a snake's attention is aimed. Marked with a curse upon his skin, Turns out very helpful against his kin. Answer: Sasuke Uchiha (Just an example) MAL Username: Continent: Grouping 1: (Just to be clear, these hints won't be numbered or given continents in the actual form and will be shuffled randomly. This is just an example.) Hint 1: North America Hint 2: South America Hint 3: Europe Hint 4: Africa Hint 5: Asia Hint 6: Australia Grouping 2: (Just to be clear, these hints won't be numbered or given continents in the actual form and will be shuffled randomly. This is just an example.) Hint 7: North America Hint 8: South America Hint 9: Europe Hint 10: Africa Hint 11: Asia Hint 12: Australia Grouping 3: (Just to be clear, these hints won't be numbered or given continents in the actual form and will be shuffled randomly. This is just an example.) Hint 13: North America Hint 14: South America Hint 15: Europe Hint 16: Africa Hint 17: Asia Hint 18: Australia Finale: Final Hint: Important Rules and How To Start: 1: Fill out the questionnaire with your guesses of the characters' names and afterwards make a post below to confirm that you filled out the form and submitted your answers. I will send you a PM within 24 hours on whether you won the game or not. After the room closes, I will have an extra event on Discord were I go over the answers. There might be a way to get some bonus candy as well. 2: The hints will be shuffled anonymously in each grouping and the continent which applies to each hint will only be revealed once the room closes. All three groupings contain each continent once. Just to be clear, answer all groupings in the questionnaire. 3: After you submit the form, I will edit your post with an update once I reviewed your form and finished grading it (although I won't confirm a win or a loss in the thread until the room is closed. I will send you a PM though on whether you won or lost). So keep an eye on your posts in the thread. 4: Any hint that you guessed incorrectly means that you failed to kill the character, resulting in the corresponding hints continent being destroyed when they are blown up. If that continent is where you chose to be located in the form, game over. After I PM you that you lost, you will be able to try again one more time if you wish by submitting a new form the next day (GMT time). But don't make a new post in the thread or edit your first post. Just send me a PM confirming that you resubmitted the form. 5: Three incorrectly guessed hints in the same grouping results in a game over. As does two incorrectly guessed hints for the same continent among the three groupings. Again, you can have two tries with the questionnaire, but you will need to wait until I tell you if you lost the next day (GMT time) before you try again. The limit this time will be only two chances. So if you fail the first time, you will have only one more chance to win. 6: You win the game by not dying and getting to the Finale and succeeding to guess the final hint, killing the mastermind of the anime characters' "assault" and saving the world. Again, you can have multiple tries with the questionnaire, but you will need to wait until I tell you if you lost the next day (GMT time) before you try again. 7: General Updates will be posted in this thread, so make sure to watch this thread daily. Specific player updates, like if you won or lost, will be sent via PM within 24 hours after you submit the form and edited into your post after the room closes. 8: Winning the game awards you the main candy. A bonus candy will be given to those who won the game on the first try and guessed two whole groupings correctly. A second bonus candy will be given if every guess in all the groupings are guessed correctly on the first try. So it is possible to acquire the main candy and two bonus candies. There might be an opportunity in the result event at the end to win a bonus candy (assuming you don't win two bonus candies on the first try). 9: This room is a collaborative event, meaning you can join the discord room during the collaborative events and work as a team and openly discuss the clues and speculate what you think the answers are. Everyone can give guesses openly and then you can discuss if the answer fits. Each player can only participate in one collaboration event. After the first time participating, you can watch the next ones, but can't participate in the group discussions. This way, players who already know some correct answers from previous attempts at the game can't give away or hint the correct answers or even imply that they know the answer from previous attempts. There will be no "I know from a process of elimination from my attempts that this answer is definitely correct". Please don't share answers with other users and please don't make or use extra accounts to play multiple times. Cheating may lead to disqualification and suspicious accounts may be disqualified without warning. 10: Make sure to spell the character's full name correctly. Use the name listed on the character's MAL page bio. Remember, the Death Note only works if the name is full and correctly spelled, so try to be as thorough as possible with your answers with the correct spelling. Click here to start! . Good Luck!!! You can either join one of the collaboration events, work solo, or find users who weren't part of a collaboration event or played solo already to work together. The first collaboration event starts at - 20:00 GMT October 25th. The second collaboration event is planned for tomorrow - 22:00 GMT October 26th. If enough people are interested, I can try to squeeze another collaboration event in between for users that can't make those times. We will see. Then the results event will start an hour after the room closes. The room closes at October 27th at 23:59 GMT. Cider House Zwei This room has concluded! See the epilogue and solutions. ??? Good luck and have fun! Cassette Why would you do such a STUPIDDDDD thing?! Aya B-But, I was so lonely last year! *sobs* Cassette You're seriously giving me a headache. What kind of self-sabotage is this? Aya HMPH! It'll be heaps of fun! Cassette This wasn't any fun two years ago, you know? It was really stressful! Aya It beats being alone during Maloween! Cassette Excuse me for taking a break last year considering the mess you got us into from two years ago! Aya OH MY GOSH!! Cassette Wha— Aya YOU'RE HERE! THE MALOWEEN CRUSADER! Cassette They really showed up! But why? Aya Cuz my trick worked! WELCOME TO ANOTHER YEAR OF BARTENDING DJ AWESOM— Cassette Stop shouting! Aya Okay, sorry. I'm just so happy to see you again... Cassette Umm, so it's really good to see you again, but honestly I think neither of us would be in this bar if it weren't for Aya's troubles... Aya That's precisely why I was so lonely last year!! Cassette That doesn't mean you should just invent problems! Aya literally went and mixed up all her ciders again just so you and I would come to help her again! Aya Look, I have candy to give this year! Even though free drinks for all of Maloween is probably better... Cassette Isn't that the same candy I gave out two years ago?! Aya Well, there were left overs and I don't eat candy so... Cassette Okay, if you want to hear more, open Side TA. I need something for my headache in the meantime. Aya Could I interest you in a glass of water instead? Cassette I ought to pour your ciders down the sink for real. Aya Of course you want to hear more of my lovely voice~ Cassette Stop trying to be cute. Aya In case you're new, Cass is a spool of magnetic tape who likes to dress up as a maid. Cassette In case you're new, Cider House is a bar owned by a useless alcoholic known as Aya. Aya I'm recovered actually! Cassette Aya often has singers visit to record their vocals in special bottles of cider. Aya Special Aya ciders will let you playback beautiful vocals in all their sparkling quality! Cassette I still think tape is fine, but whatever. Aya Anyway two years ago, I got super drunk because I was so lonely and accidentally muddled up the order of the ciders for like half a dozen songs I had to deliver by the end of the month. Cassette And this year you messed them up on purpose!! Aya I MEAN, the two of you are here with me so it worked! Cassette ... Aya I will reflect on this. Cassette So that brings us up to now. Allow me to summarise what we need to do now. Cassette For each Side, our challenge is to rearrange the order of ciders so that they recreate the song. So remember, a cider is just a short recording of some singing that we'll mix and match with the other ciders in a song. Together in the right order, they create the vocal track or acapella of the song. The backing track is your biggest hint as to what the song is supposed to sound like. Each Side has its own unique set of ciders that need to be rearranged. This means you have to use each cider once and you can't use the same cider twice. There's a mixing machine that can preview an order of ciders that you choose making it super easy to experiment and try out different combinations. The mixing machine can also combine the backing track with your suggested cider order letting you put your solution to the final test. If the result sounds like a song, then you've probably sorted the ciders in the right order! Aya Well explained! Cassette Why, thank you. Aya Now we're ready to rock and roll! Cassette If you take a listen, you'll notice that something is not right with the singing, but first we need to know where the ciders are. Aya Which is not a problem because Cass and I will tell you the exact timestamps! Cassette In this song, there are five ciders. I'll list them with the cider number and then the start time. Each cider ends at the next cider start time. 1: 0:00.00 2: 0:11.85 3: 0:29.68 4: 0:42.22 5: 0:53.57 Aya You can tell the length of a cider by looking at the time when the next cider starts. Cassette To guide the ciders into the right place, we also have the backing track. Aya Although there's no vocals, the backing track is not scrambled in any way so it's a foundation to your work. Cassette Finally, to mix ciders and listen to your liking, we're reintroducing the Mixing Machine! Aya The machine is well out of warranty though so please don't come to me if something is terribly broken... Cassette Now, let's have a look at this first song together. Aya Where do the vocals seem not to match? Cassette Ciders 1 and 4 sound like they're part of the verse so I think those should go together. Aya With the same thinking, ciders 3 and 5 sound like part of the chorus and should also go together! Cassette We know that songs usually go from verse to chorus so we can rearrange the pairs of ciders to be in this order. Aya Finally it sounds like cider 2 is leading up to the chorus... Cassette If we put all of that knowledge together, the order we end up with is our solution! Aya Still stuck? Let's summarise again: Ciders 1,4 for the verse. Cider 2 leading up to the chorus. Cider 3,5 for the chorus. And the verse goes into the chorus. Cassette I think our order should be— Aya Don't spoil it! Cassette Fine... Why don't you give it a try in the Mixing Machine? Aya Okay. So same deal with this one. Cassette Every time I think about how you deliberately muddled these up, my tape gets crinkled. Aya Ha! This is why you should upgrade to digital, Cass. Aya We have six ciders in total. 1: 0:00.00 2: 0:10.78 3: 0:16.85 4: 0:27.66 5: 0:38.53 6: 0:47.90 Cassette Like last time, let's break it into what's part of the verse and what's part of the chorus. Ciders 1, 2, and 6 sound like they're the chorus. Ciders 3, 4, and 5 sound like they're the verse. Aya As expected of Cass... Cassette I would also say cider 4 is the lead up to the chorus. Aya Okay, why don't you just solve it for them, then? Cassette Hehe, now that wouldn't be any fun, would it? Aya Taking a page out of my book! Cassette Here's the instrumental. Aya And here's the Mixing Machine! Aya Since you're such a veteran, you'll be able to whistle through all this, won't you? Cassette Where are you going with this? Aya Nowhere. Cassette I have a bad feeling about this... Aya Anyway, it's your turn, Cass. Cassette Fine. 1: 0:02.26 2: 0:07.15 3: 0:20.25 4: 0:24.98 5: 0:38.38 6: 0:49.38 7: 1:02.94 Cassette Oh, I'm so sleepy after that. Aya Here's the vocals~ Aya There are ten ciders for this one. When we have more than nine ciders, we just move onto letters. That's why cider 10 is called A. 1: 0:00.00 2: 0:05.52 3: 0:10.12 4: 0:11.82 5: 0:15.96 6: 0:22.79 7: 0:30.40 8: 0:37.27 9: 0:49.86 A: 0:56.98 Aya And here's the backing track. Aya Hm, what else? Oh, the mixing machine. Aya Where's Cass? Aya I bet she's napping somewhere. How boring! Aya 1: 0:04.92 2: 0:12.24 3: 0:18.32 4: 0:25.96 5: 0:29.35 6: 0:34.56 7: 0:58.50 8: 1:01.10 9: 1:28.12 A: 1:34.14 B: 1:41.81 Aya Have at it, I guess? ??? WAIT, MY MALOWEEN CRUSADER! Pick what happens next! ((!)) INTERACTIVE ((!)) > You're so done with this room. (Submit your answers.
