| A battle against a swamp monster and meeting new characters, Sunraku had his hands busy this time around. Plus, it seems this episode was set up for his inevitable meeting with Arthur Pencilgon. Is he ready? We'll see. She's definitely no pushover and Sunraku seems fearful already by her presence. |

| LETS GOOO best girl finally here 😩been waiting for her to show up ever since I saw the key visual lol. Can’t wait for next week’s ep with Arthur. Emul carried this ep until those last 2 minutes. Her human form was so cute. Boss fight was really well done. C2C continue to impress me in this one. Mechanics wise, I think the game’s rules are so interesting and this is already one of the best full dive rpg series. I actually feel like I’m watching a video game. They’re taking the time and explaining things properly as well |

| Emul's human form is cute but too bad she can't keep it up for long. Arthur Pendragon Pencilgon is here and she's a player killer. Sunraku knows her too it seems. Btw Sunraku has gone viral for both having a vorpal bunny and lycagon's curse, poor guy. The swamp boss fight was nice. |

| @phantomfandom They're probably using the mini to fill the time slot (common technique) as they left the actual show on a cliffhanger but weren't able to add enough fluff before the cliffhanger. |

| Mud Digger’s HP was surprisingly low. Sunraku only landed about three hits to trigger the second phase, excluding the meteor attack. It appears Sunraku needed to land many more hits on the snake boss. Now Sunraku has become something of a celebrity, lol. I was puzzled why other players abruptly fled when a fight was imminent. It turns out Sunraku's rival is a level 99 player killer. |

| emul looked so cute as a bunny that they had to nerf her with the transformation lol. bunch of girls appeared and sunraku got way too much attention. purple haired chick is here but i'm more interested in seeing more of the red head chick rn. emul really pulled out the monocle and went all elegant with that one attack. |

| We needed more waifus, so of course we somehow come to know Emul could have a human form too. Just can't be anime without these things. As for Sunraku, guess the popularity bring him no good in the end. Not only are people after his life now, but some annoying creatures are bugging him to spill the secret behind his tagging partner too. Anyways, Hikasa Youko always voices the prettiest characters. |

| WHY DID THE CHICKEN CROSS THE MUDSWAMP!! Sunraku and emul remind me of the good ol days in looney tunes where we had the iconic duo of Bugs bunny and Daffy duck. It is very much a great anime adaptation in spirit. also yeah i love how they worked together to beat the bosses. I hope he wins against that PK pencil knight. Also I very much agree he shouldnt easily sell out his info on how he got emul, especially when she can give rise to a potential fun anime harem. Still sunraku is best boi no matter what. |

Recycled animation, the unnecesary shove in of a narrator to explain the asspull moves and to add insult to injury make Emul yet another waifu for incel MC? Blergh. Once again incel MC survives with 1Hp left. How many times will this have to repeat until the audience gets tired of this? |

| Gotta say am starting to dislike this show, or at least the way it's directed. Gaming and action part of it is getting shorter and shorter by the episode while they are ramping up overreaction and screaming parts. Not to mention good part of the episode is flashbacks and overexplaining everything. Then episode ends at 20 minute mark and we get filler after outro. So annoying. Episode 5 had less than 15min of actual content. |

But this fight was screaming until bunny shoots, then he falls on boss and levels up. Seriously? That's a fight? I could understand fight against the wolf, which is super overpowered by design. But there he at least tried. Here he did nothing and we are suppose to think this boss is not as hard as that wolf. |
| Still really like the various game mechanics this show portrays. It really felt like a boss fight you'd see in a real game. I guess Sunraku's in a very unique situation with having Emul on his side, and having faced Lycagon as well. He's on a lot of people's radar now. |

| @MeanEYE This fight terrain completely invalidated his play style. You can't jump around dodging everything when you are stuck in mud. Quick wits and good skill cannot solve that. At least not on first try. If he wasn't "super good gamer" he wouldn't survive even long enough for Emul saving his ass. |

| @Tenzen12 If he was as good as it was sold to us he wouldn't have started fight in disadvantageous terrain. Or have you forgotten initial few episodes where he doesn't allow NPCs to trick him. |

| @MeanEYE You can't fight the boss without being in disadvantageous terrain. Especially not solo with his build, since the boss has guaranteed hits in phase 2. You need a group so somebody can tank phase 2's knockup, or so you can stunlock it. That's how the fight normally goes. |

Loved how they handled the screenshot. So many new characters being introduced! The stakes are rising, and Arthur joins the battle! So begins my favorite major arc of the series.

You see 16min of content per episode is the limit and they already explained how things work once. Explaining twice would be too much. As for boss battle, I saw nothing but poor excuses and lack of motion. You can justify it as much as you like but quality of fights is dropping fast no matter how you turn it. |

| @MeanEYE He literally can't do anything but walk and parry/slide every ~10s - of course there's less motion in this fight. I really don't think this is going to be any indicator of a downward trend in the action to come. |

| @Bandanaa well, I disagree. For me drop in quality is noticeable. Just the ending comedy part got longer. And fighting in this episode resulted in him standing and blocking one hit, dodging one and then falling on boss. Compare that to redcap or wolf fight. Then snake was at comparably interesting level. Even initial bunny was more interesting that this episode if you ask me. But I could go along with all of that if the character showed same strengths he initially showed. In this episode he did nothing other than panic. Literally. There was no trying to be clever and finding his way out. He just panicked and screamed a lot. Am not finding that entertaining. |
