| Oh boy, we got drama at the school already. But still, it's good to know that the students are learning some defensive combat magic to defend themselves including Chise. Plus, this episode brings together elements from the previous seasons together again. The epsiode also had some silly moments as some students definitely need more combat experience. I'm not surprised to see Chise performing selfless acts to help others again already. It's been part of her nature. |

| Continuing on where Season 2's 1st Cour left us with the College arc, JUNNA is back with yet another OP and so is Yuyu, but it's decent. Philomela's withdraw from the College holds a lot of thought process, and the superficial fairy Alcyone serving has her supervisor, she at least has a bodyguard. As preparations are made from within to stop the College from being attacked further, the closure affects the College hard, but who it does not affect is Fabio Zaccheroni and his supervisor Sigrid Wachmann teaching Chise and her class additional combat skills, with safety of course, against his familiars. This training is as real as it gets, and Chise's cursed arm is acting on its own to defeat the familiar, while others rely on their clay-created weapons. And since Chise and Rian ended first, a duel with Zaccheroni they did decent with Wachmann stopping then and there. Philomela is under a great deal of sickness, and Chise carries her to the nurse's office along with Lucy. Still in the set-up phase... |

First part of this season was a bit ... well, don't want to say boring, just a bit mild, hope the things picks up this time around ... seem like they will, like really. |

| Season 2 Part 2 start! This OP is so... stylish and unique. I like it. "She kind of reminds me of Elias." Does this hint that Elias also might be artificially made? Interesting. The art in this is so good. These mantis claws are so cool-looking. 21:37 "I'll collapse if I'm not close to you" Why so? Did I forget something from part 1? Good premiere! Looking forward to more focus on Philomela. |

| The magic school setting continues.. Started with some training and Chise is pretty strong already. Not surprised though given she has the dragon within her. Cool how she used her hand as a weapon. And got some extra combat with Rian against Zaccaroni. Seeing the preview, I'm excited to see the next. |

| Feels good to be back in the world of Mahoyome! Lovely new OP. Feels like this cour is going to be even better than the last one. Wait, Elias really only just learnt what friendship is? Interesting lol. So Zaccheroni is back, this time supervised by Bachmann. That was a pretty wild physical education class. Chise snapping the one familiar’s neck was brutal. Poor Philomela. She’s not looking so good at all. That Veronica seems quite mysterious. Ngl it’s been a while so I don’t remember much about the testament/book they’re looking for.. a little recap would’ve been nice, but solid opening episode. |

| We're some 35 plus episodes in, and the concept of friendship is still foreign to Elias lol. Anyways, we dived straight into the plot without any "going over things" segment. Philomela might not have to see her grandmother anymore, as now that they have decided to shut the college premises for outsiders, but that doesn't seem to have helped her in any shape. Moreover such combat classes... Chise literally has to lift her on the back post session lol. Now I do hope we see more about blonde oujo-sama this time around. She seems blatantly suspicious for so many reasons after all. Fine start to the cour, and liked both the new OP and ED. |

| This episode was a very good start for the second Part of Season 2.I was hoping for a short recap of the last part, but I still quickly remembered the plot and the characters. The animation is beautiful so far, as well as the new Op and Ed. I'm excited to see how the events develop. |
| We're back with the second part of the College arc, and I do certainly hope there's more intrigue in store this cour, because quite frankly, my interest stalled as the first cour of Season 2 progressed, so I'm hoping the plot picks up relatively soon. The college is under lockdown, there are new lessons, more geared towards survival, and some mystery regarding Chise's arm and also Philomela. There is much to unravel. |
| So good to have this show back and they went right back into the action, Chise with that violent inner side is so badass. As expected JUNNA never misses and those OP visuals *chef's kiss*. |
| Prisoner of Azkaban feeling all around. Cool opening and ending songs as usual. Visuals felt quite worse than they were in the first part. The cover is dope and the opening made it seem like there's going to be a lot more action now, but also time travel I think? I don't like that. |

| This was a good episode to jump back into the second cour of Ancient Magus Bride season 2. =) With the college on high alert after the attacks it had suffered in the previous cour, it was understandable that one of the lessons Chise and the others went through was combat training. Zaccheroni was in charge of the lesson, supervised by Wachmann, but even then, his chaotic side still showed with how he was advising the students, including holding Martin up in the air by his neck. Ouch... It's nice to see Philomena opening up more to her friends about her situation. Despite that, she looked to be really struggling physically, even though she made easy work of the battle against Zaccheroni's familiar in the combat training. I can only hope that Chise and the others can help with her constant suffering. She deserves better. =( Junna once again delivers a pleasing song which matches well to the action heavy OP. The ED song is also nice and calm. I also give bonus points for the still visuals showing Chise and the others exploring London itself, including the Tower Of London. =P |

| The college is now locked off completely. They better find out the culprit fast and resolve the situation. The self defense class was okay, decent episode to start with and they are continuing from where it left off last time so it shouldn't take much time for things to get going. OP/ED were both okay. |

| The return of my favourite show could not be more happy right now :) Straight in to the show with no recap, this I like personally as recaps take up more story time but that my personal view. All in all good episode to start. |

| Lets go part 2 is out, really sold on the plot so far on the college especially after part 1 that put light on all the inner strife's between families and the character / worldbuilding that happens. This season seems like it will definitely be focusing more on the the character's backstories and families since some of the current mysteries seem to heavily tie in with that, hella excited since character development and worldbuilding was something i always loved about in this series. |

| It looks like we're gonna have another heavy school focused arc and this one's gonna be action-filled since they spent the first half of the season building up to this climax. I'm surprised those familiars died so easily and how strong Rian is. JUNNA is back with another beautiful song for this dilatory anime. Where are our villains bruh? |
