 NBCUniversal Entertainment Japan opened an official website for a television anime adaptation of Nana Aokawa's Goukon ni Ittara Onna ga Inakatta Hanashi (How I Attended an All-Guy's Mixer) manga on Thursday, revealing an announcement promo and teaser visual (pictured).Aokawa began drawing the romantic comedy manga on their pixiv account in March 2020. Square Enix acquired the manga and began publishing it in Gangan Online in February 2021. The fifth volume went on sale on April 12, and the sixth volume is scheduled to be released on October 12. The manga has a cumulative 1.1 million copies of its volumes in circulation. Square Enix is publishing the manga digitally in English on their Manga UP! app and website. Synopsis College student Tokiwa gets invited to a mixer by his female classmate Suo. But when he arrives with his friends, they're greeted by three dazzlingly handsome men?! | @MegamiRem Judging by the fact that the live action adaptation is half composed of actresses from Takarazuka, I would rather think that this is ikemen onna yuri, lol. I wonder if the anime will be inspired by this as well. |
