Hi everyone, about a year ago I started reading Blue period, liked it very much and so I kept buying it.
But then I finally stopped with the reading at volume 6 around chapters 22-24 because it was starting to bore me.
So now some time later I wanted to ask, is it worth continuing it?
Having only 6 volumes in the library I have to decide whether to sell them or get the volumes I'm missing.

I love blue period for its themes and characterss. So if your not hooked by that, I’d prob drop it. The part your up to somewhere in the ch20s ish I think was my fav part of the manga actually. (Not that the other parts where worse, although their r some sections that r a bit inconsistent later on)

@24846 I'm actually quite attracted to it, especially of the themes covered but also the characters clearly, along with the drawings are the strengths of this manga.
However, let's say that for me it must also have at some point a steady progress in the narrative, I at that time honestly don't even really remember why I dropped it, sometimes I would start other works while I was already watching/reading one.
So what I was wondering more is : for those who are catching up with the reading , did it improve going forward or not?

I have 8 volumes and I don't plan to buy more because like you I got bored. I felt this way even before volume 8 but I thought it would get better so I bought it. I don't really know how it is later and I'm too lazy to start reading it again, but I would recommend to read it to get the whole picture and be able to rate it overall (I will also probably re-read it sometime when I feel like it). If you feel like you force yourself to read it just drop and start again whenever you want.

@3majla I'm glad that there is someone more or less in the same situation as me, thank you for sharing this.

@Sayanora_Tendou then first of all let me assure you that actually if I were to sell it I would have to lose almost half of what I paid for it in total, especially with such a work that is not as well known as others and is still completely available new from me in italy.
I've been buying and selling used for a while already so I'm telling you this from experience.
so since I don't have a very good economic availability and I already have many other manga series I'm interested in, let's say I'm a little undecided whether to continue buying it.
I'd kind of hate to leave it like that, because I already have 6 volumes and not being the complete series I don't think it will be easy to sell.
as for the collector factor I am but up to a point considering as I said before my little economic availability, however I definitely like to have blue period in the library for aesthetics.

Doesn’t improve. Just remains consistent in quality.
