| *The story began when old friends returned to the Academy. It was a basic day on the first day followed by an epic volleyball match. After school Kira, an old friend of Tenshi, had went on a date with him. It was an eventful date that ended with a kiss between the two. The following day the students began the MARTs (Magic and Abilities Ranking Tests). The story left off as Tenshi walked away from the exam field to work on his secret for the next exam. | "Next is Yuri Aoki and Lisa Shirayuki!" Kenji-sensei announced. They both stood up and walked on the field calmly. They both whispered something in Kenji-sensei's ear, and he nodded, giving the two their weights. After a few minutes, Yuri managed to do 500, while Lisa did 486. They quietly went back to their seats. Lisa took a deep breath and faced Yuri. "If you were so worried about failing, then why did you do that many, and with that weight too," she asked. Yuri grinned, expecting her friend to ask that. She leaned and whispered to her ear, "That's because I don't want anyone else to know." |

| Yuri grinned modestly. "We didn't do as good as you, though, Kira. You did better than us," she said. Lisa smacked Yuri's head. "When someone complements you, you do not say something negative back. You compliment the person back. Anyway, good job to you too, Kira," Lisa said. |

| "I don't know, I think almost everyone is done. Let's watch the others," Yuri said. There were some outstanding people, but none of them had gone over Kira's record. Yuri yawned, rubbing her eyes slightly. Last night, she couldn't sleep, and her roommate was keeping her up all night. Every once and a while, her eyes would close, and she would suddenly be awakened by Kenji-sensei. Lisa was reading her book contently, not bothering to even watch the others. |

| Tenshi got to an isolated area of the school. Tenshi: This looks like a good spot... He took off his blazer and set it on the ground. He then put on his headphone and turned on his zune. His favorite song began to play (3 Doors Down - Kryptonite) Tenshi: Alright, here goes nothing. He closed his eyes he inhaled, and he re-opened them as he exhaled, they were now an icy blue. His breath frosted the air in front of him. Tenshi: Hyouketsu! The ground began to freeze over and the air chilled, causing the temperature around the building drop to around 0 degrees Fahrenheit. Tenshi then began to move his hands around him, causing the ice around him to move. He began to shape them into ice sculptures of demons. Tenshi: Alright... I got that step down.... Tenshi took off his headphones and looked around. He noticed that ice had spread further than he thought, and he also noticed that it had began to snow inside for the barrier. |

| Kenji-sensei: D-d-despite the cold, we must continue. A-a-alright, will Rin and Hikaru please step up, along with K-k-kuro Shin. A third year student stood up and started to head towards the field. Random Student: Hey, didn't he place in the top 20 last year? Random Student 2: Yeah, I think he did. I heard his father is a pretty renown Warlock, he was also a Demon Slayer before he passed. The tall male took his spot in the center of the field. His black hair swayed in the wind as his gaze was locked on the bleachers at Kira and Troy. His left eye was black, while his right eye was red. Kenji-sensei was about to open his mouth, but Kuro spoke before a word could leave his mouth. Kuro: I'm ready whenever... He just stood there with an unwavering stare towards Kira and Troy. Meanwhile Tenshi was still standing on the rink of ice he had created but all the statues when smashed. Bolts of electricity crackled around his left hand's pointer and middle finger. Tenshi: I think thats good enough.... I should head back soon... I'll need to rest up some before my turn... The ice began to crack underneath him as he stood there, somewhat out of breath. The air started to return to normal. |

| Hikaru: Eh? What are doing again? Rin just rolled hr eyes and with some rolled up paper smacked Hikaru over the head. Hikaru floated backwards away from Rin rubbing his skull, moaning toward Rin. Rin: Baka. This is what happens when you fall asleep. The two of them walked toward field, which seemed to be melting from some unknown heat source. Hikaru grinned knowingly and Rin just sighed again as the two of them got to their spot on the field. Though he was known in the top 20 in the rankings, it took real skill to get in the top 10. She kept her smugness inside herself and kept a determined, serious face. But Hikaru felt the smugness and started to laugh under his breathe, as Rin threw him a slight annoyed glance. |
| Kira: Is he looking at us? Troy: More like staring... Kira: Oh... Troy: If only Tenshi were here... Kira: What? Why? Troy: well... he might not enjoy it too much when another guy stares at his girl like that... Kira: What? Troy: Nevermind, let's just say that I wouldn't mind kicking his ass right now. |
| Kuro gritted his teeth and gave off a light snarl. Kuro (thinking): I loathe them... all of them... they can't even compare to Warlocks... He turned his look from Kira and Troy and headed towards the weights. Kuro: Are you ready... His hair somewhat covered his eyes, but he was looking at Rin and you could make out his piercing red one. Tenshi took a seat next to Kira, still somewhat out of breath. Tenshi: Eh? So it's Rin's and Hikaru's turn? Kuro's eyes narrowed as he saw Tenshi and Kira talking. Kuro (thinking): So... the wingless angel and that witch are together.... how I loathe them both. He is not even anything close to what you call an angel. He wields a weapon meant for one, but yet he has no wings to show he is one. What a perfect pair... a sad excuse for an angel and a witch.... |
| Yuri looked, she saw Kuro staring at her, or maybe it was something behind her. She turned around and saw Kira Troy and Tenshi sitting behind her. Hmm, now why is he staring at them?, she thought as she stared at Kuro. Lisa immidiatly read Yuri's mind and looked up from her book to see Kuro. She frowned, half frowning, half looking blankly at Kuro. She could sense his aura, a somewhat dark aura that Lisa didn't like. |

| Kuro: I'm starting now... you can go whenever Valkyrie.... Kuro eyes were now both red as the Kanji for "power" started to run up his arms in red character. He picked up 4000 pounds with ease and started doing reps. His master of spells allowed him to perform almost all of them without any incantations. |
| Louis: Damn it, we're late... Malice: Oh, don't fuss... *Rubs Louis' head...* Louis: Hmm... *Smiles softly* Malice: Hmm... Feel that? Something quite important is happening at school today... Louis: Yeah, well let's hurry up then... |

| "It's always boring," Slaash said sitting behind Troy and Kira with Boros behind him, "that's way I'm not doing it." Boros was rubbing his head from the kick Sera had given him earlier, "but you can only make the top 20 if you only do two of the tests, I'm just hopen' I do good enough on the next test to make the top 50, it's gunna be 'ard." "So what was up with that wierd guy eyein you two?" Boros asked, "is he in our class?" Slaash hit Boros with his book, "baka, that's Kuro Shin, the president of the student council, he's a warlock, it's a real bad idea to get someone like him mad at you, you really should at least remember easy things like that," Slaash said going back to reading his book. |

| Tenshi sat there and didn't say anything. He just glared as he was trying to figure out Kuro. 'How is it that someone like him who can use spells without incantations or chants not make it into the top 10,' thought Tenshi. Kuro had finished after 50 reps and he dropped the weights, "I'm done.... I don't want to waste all of my energy in this one test..." said Kuro blankly as he headed back t the bleachers. Tenshi stare was locked with Kuro's as he walked past them to take his seat. |
| Running through the gate before closing... Both freshmen run into the testing area right after the locker room... Louis: Hmm, so this is what all that was about... Malice: Let's go ask what we need to do... Louis: OK... Both approach the nearest teacher... In unison, "Excuse us, but what do we need to do?" |

| Kenji-sensei looked down to them. The seraph smiled, "Listen up first years. We are in the middle MARTs right now, the Magical and Abilities Tests. It ranks the students in four different areas. First was speed, now is strength, and after that is magic. Then we break for lunch. You two already missed the first test, we might have some time for you to go after Rin finishes." |
| Both, "Yes sir... Thank You." They then slowly approach the bleachers and take the nearest vacant seat... |

| "Oy Slaash, man who's those freshies?" Boros said poiting at Malice and Louis. Slaash sighed and summoned a book out of his shadow, "those are Malice Ructor, and Louis Godfrey, don't try to question my resources Boros," he said shutting the book which disappeared when he closed it, and whent back to reading his other book. "Oy ya two, Louis and Malice was it? I like ya names, come and sit with some seniors!" Boros said waving them over to him, "if there was ever a stupider reason for talking to someone..." Slaash said sighing. [OOC: it's been so long since something's happened, I'm just trying to start it up again] |

| Slaash grined at Malice's question, "quite simple how I know your names, ever hear of a shadow book? well you probably haven't, it's a book that I can summon at anytime," he said as a black book with a pure white skull on it appeared in his right hand, "it records everything I've ever heard or seen, I know everything about this school, if you ever have a question, don't heisitate to ask me, I have very reliable sources," he said grinning in an evil way. Boros looked back at Kira and Troy, "oy, I brought 'em over here cuz I liked their names, and I love cool names," Slaash rubbed his temples, "why? why must he be so stupid?" |

| Tenshi frowned, "That not fair... he went through all the trouble of telling you his race to get that in return," said Tenshi, this being the first time he spoke since they came to sit by them, "I'm sorry to have not introduced myself yet, I'm Tenshi Akki a grim angel," he added. "More like a wingless angel!" roared Reigen as the people around him snickered. Tenshi just gritted his teeth and looked back to the freshman, "Thats Reigen Kami... a grim angel like myself although he is a major pain in the-" "I wouldn't finish that sentence is I were you Tenshi-kun...." said Kuro out of nowhere, "I'm Kuro Shin. A warlock." |
| Malice: Oh!! I'm sorry... I thought... Louis: Nice to meet you Kuro-senpai... And Anastius-senpai, what do you mean by "running from"? Malice: Oh, well, so am I Tenshi-senpai... Louis: Yeah, well, all I can say is I'm from the same place where we've come from... Asgard... I don't know what to call myself to be honest. But maybe a Divine Being can sort of, represent it... Malice: So... Uhmm, Tenshi-senpai, are you and Reigen here as well because of the Great War? Louis looks down and tries to preoccupy himself avoiding the conversation... |

| Tenshi's eyes narrowed as gritted his teeth a little, "I suppose you can say that... but I'd rather not talk about that right now..." his pupils were glowing a fierce icy blue but then they started to return to normal, "So are you two enjoying the MARTs? Wait... you two haven't taken any of the tests before..." |
| Malice: Hmm... And Yes... Hehe... She lowers her head slightly. "I guess it's been excruciating for all of us...", She thinks to herself. Louis looks back and tries to listen now... |

| Tenshi stood up, "I'm going to take a walk before the next exam...." he said abruptly then he began to wander off away from the group. "Hmm? Looks like Tenshi-kun is annoyed about something," mocked Reigen as he was now standing next to Malice and Louis. 'To think that I'd hear the name of that damned war again...' Tenshi thought to himself as he then jumped from the ground to the top of the school in a single leap. He laid back on the rooftop and gazed into the sky, casting a few spells that shot icicles out of his fingertips, 'When will it stop haunting me...' |
| Malice and Louis sit there in shock as they saw Tenshi do so... Malice: Reigen-senpai, I'm sorry but I don't find this the right time to do such... Malice looks toward where Tenshi was, " I Shouldn't have brought that up..." Louis: Malice, stay here for a while... Malice: Hmm, I see... Good Luck... Louis: Thank You... Reigen-senpai, Anastius-senpai, if you'll excuse me... Louis walks slowly off and away from the bleachers and towards where Tenshi was... From behind, "Tenshi-senpai, I'm sorry for what Malice brought up... I am sorry as well for not stopping Her." He moves forward and bows to Tenshi... |

He then turned his gaze back to the sky, "Its just that the war is a touchy subject for me... it brings back bad memories is all..." He extended his hand into the sky and clenched his fist, "Have you ever seen a diviner Louis?" asked Tenshi he continued to look at the sky, "I suppose you would've... being around Malice and all..." |

| Tenshi gritted his teeth at the mention of Reigen's name, "We use to be friends ya' know... before we got our diviners... I have three as well... I lost both of my wings because of two of them... the third is more of an heirloom from my father that passed," Tenshi stood up and put his hands towards his side. Twin swords began to materialize by his sides, "These are your of mine... there are actually two half's of a whole. The Twin Swords of Chaos and Pain, Kaosu and Kushin." The swords glimmered in the sunlight, Kaosu had an obsidian black blade and Kushin a crimson red, "So you said you were a divine being... am I right? You wouldn't happen to be a Magi would you? Its not like it matters or not..." asked Tenshi as his eyes turned the fierce icy blue again. |
| "No, I'm not... I was a child of the 2 Archangel aristocracies in Asgard... But that traitor..." Clenches his fist the lightning starts to jolt around it... "Well, 2 of my Diviners are heirlooms as well... I forgot the other one was twin rapiers... Which technically means I have 4... I only have 1 of my own, but being such, I had to sacrifice nothing..." |

| Tenshi eyes started to return to normal, "So thats what it is... my other diviner is a scythe. A massive one at that.. Its name is Zetsumei, The Icy Scythe of Death," said Tenshi as his twin swords began to disappear, "Pretty grim sounding name eh?" he asked in a laughing manner trying to relief the tension in the air, "I suppose we should head back. Don't want to keep them waiting..." |

| Tenshi began to laugh, "Well you see I'm a rather special case, I have two elements: Fire and Ice, although I tend to favor Ice more," Tenshi said with a smirk, "See?" he held out both his hands and conjured a fireball in one and a ball of ice in the other, "but I can still use other spells as well," he said as he clasped the two together making the fire turn to steam and the ice turn to water. |
| "Oh, awesome, I thought I was the only one... Heh, Frost really is a favourable element isn't it?" Louis shoots a bolt of lighting the freezes it... What forms is a spear-like item... He grabs it in mid air and plays with it as they walk... |

| Tenshi smiled, "Yeah it is isn't it... just wait to see what I have in store for the magic portion of the MARTs," he said with a small chuckle. The rest of the group was in sight, "Well seems like nothing much has changed since we left." |
| "Heh, yeah... Now for Rin to take the test..." As they neared, he absorbed the energy in the spear and gently broke the rest... And in the distance, he saw Malice's smile and gently waving at them... |
