| I literally just found out today that there is a manga and that there is a light novel, not just an anime. Is the manga any different from the anime? Is the light novel any different from the anime? Without spoilers, if anyone can shed some light on the subject, it would be greatly appreciated 😊 |

Most of them , like Suisei no Gargantia , even release the first chapter of the Manga/Novel before the first episode , to tease more , and satisfy those who prefer to read. For the Manga , the overall story is the same , but many (not important for the plot) scenes got skipped , including a lot of the fan service. The Manga is basically a rushed version of the Anime , with a chapter more or less adapting one episode. For the Light Novel , i'm not sure since it's not translated , but it's most probably also the same as the Anime. Especially since they made a Sequel Novel , that was originally supposed to be the 2nd Season of the Anime. |
