Why no one cried about pedophilia in this show?

I'm pretty sure if the roles were reversed and this was a story about a guy who is in college falling in love with a high-school girl then the internet would have bombarded the comments and twitter with hate, calling the mc pedo, lolicon, incel, degenerate, and what not. But when a girl does that no one said anything. Why?

(This doesn't mean that I don't like this anime, I watched it and it was pretty good. I was just wondering why they didn't call the girl mc a pedo and shotacon)

some people started it but died cause it makes no sense, Yamada is either 18 or 17 at the start, and I'm pretty sure he's 18 before they start dating
also, there's a big difference between 17 to 20 age gap and 14 to 20 for example

why bring up the possibility of a fuss about it before it even happens, I do agree with you, but I don't see the point in bringing it up like this, because it makes a lot of confusion, that you do actually disagree with their age difference.
I honestly think this arguments about something like this should only be brought up if you actually believe it's a problem.

Yamada during the first three episodes is 17, after that he is 18 as a high school senior. Akane is 20, as a college freshmen.
Two year age gap, and they are both legal adults.

If the roles were reversed, near nothing would change. The anime community on Twitter is mostly stupid, they explode over everything.

Theres nothing to oversee. Where's the pedo? Even if it was reversed it's not. The age difference is reasonable. 2-3 years max between them. There are so many romance stories about college guys falling in love with 17 yo high school girls. I really can't see your point and what made you feel this way, when the whole story is pictured in a sweet way.
