| Having all these characters that up until know were mortal enemies suddenly becoming allies doesn't work, even more when they spend the whole episode on some of the most non-serious serious and generic dailogues ever. Also, visuals and sound effects went to shit on this episode. |

| Yeah should've known that we wouldn't actually get to anthrasax yet, and instead are just dealing with.... one of its cells? With all these powerful characters, the fight really shouldn't be lasting more than two seconds. At least we get to see some moves from the rest of the sorcerer shoguns who are supposed to be really powerful in their own rights but didn't REALLY get to showcase any of that yet. I hope that at least whatever this thing is will get defeated by the next and final episode. Anthrasax will have to wait, and probably will need an entire season (or part 2 of this season 2 if that's what they're gonna do) for them to take it down with the amount of time they're taking to just take down one part of it. Not that they're having any trouble, but again, EVERYONE is fighting together right now, it should be an insta-kill |

| Sorcerer Shoguns be like, "We were bad, but now we're good." If they just thought of their actions more critically instead of simply following orders from the start this would've happened much sooner. But I guess then the show wouldn't have any villains left. What's weirdest is that the samurai and Yoko are fine with them. I get that they have to work together for now but it's like they completely forgot about their past atrocities and war crimes. Especially Schen working with his brother doesn't make much sense to me. In a previous episode, there was this early 2000's anime-looking flashback that clearly showed him in a negative light but I guess this episode showed what really happened. I don't like when a show retroactively changes something so significant. Especially in this case where they changed the backstory in just 2 episodes. Oh well. This is kind of a goofy aah series so I'll let it slide for now. Only one episode left. Wonder how it'll end. |
