 The official website of the Kizuna no Allele television anime announced a second season on Tuseday. The anime is set to premiere in October 2023. Produced by Wit Studio and Signal.MD, the television anime aired in Spring 2023. Crunchyroll simulcast the series as it aired. Kizuna no Allele is an anime project for the virtual YouTuber (VTuber) Kizuna AI, who went on an indefinite hiatus after her "hello, world 2022" live stream concert in February 2022. The Kizuna AI YouTube channel, A.I.Channel launched in 2016, has over 3 million subscribers. Nozomi Kasuga revealed on Twitter in April 2020 that she is the voice behind Kizuna AI. Synopsis It has been five years since AI Kizuna disappeared from the virtual world. Despite being an AI, she has captured the hearts of her fans, including Miracle, an aspiring virtual artist, with her performances. As Miracle attends ADEN Academy, a school for virtual artists, she makes new friends while learning more about singing, performing, and streaming. Miracle's ultimate goal is to win the prestigious Lapin d'Or at the Virtual Grid Awards, an achievement Kizuna has earned five consecutive times. To do this, she works to improve her channel ranking through streams and performances, trying to stand out among other students at the academy. Determined to fulfill her dream of inspiring others the same way Kizuna inspired her, the budding star will not give up. | Actually pretty excited for this one. You can't ignore that it had a ROUGH start, but I think it worked itself out and turned out to be a good enough show towards the end. As fans, we can only hope that the second season turns out better than the first. |
| The first season is kinda prologue to them. This series needs at least another season to complete its story. So, it quite makes sense for them to get the second season. |
