Oh Godness I had to read the scene twice to know what Fumi meant, damn never though of that, as expected of Mitsumi's best friend.

I like to post in manga forum when I feel it is worth it, so people will think. "Shit, is her again" or something.

People asked me where I read certain thing but the rules say no telling where did you read so maybe I am too boring for not saying? Or salty because you didn't check my profile that says don't ask because I hate people to ghost me after that. I love learning languages so maybe I did not read the manga in English.

I definitely think we're going into a deep shima arc of self-realization. Can't wait for it. I love how each character has made the others grow from their own insecurities, it hasn't happened (in full realization) with Mitsumi and Shima yet but I definitely feel it's coming!

im glad someone finally told shima that its up to him instead of listening to everyone, i loved them together but its still great when they're friends
fumi seems like she'll be friends with everyone there so thats nice
another peak chapter from skip and loafer

I'm not sure if she's self-centered on purpose, I just don't think she fully understands social cues. It definitely was a gesture that came from good intentions. As Fumi said in the last panel, she isn't very good at anything but studying. But this is coming from someone who head-canons Mitsumi as autistic, so I look at it through that lens..

I don't think she does it on purpose. I mean she is a good hearted character but she often asumes that things are the way she asumes them being as and as a result, she ends up dictating for others. Shima's feelings, taking her sister's feelings lightly, not noticing Fumi's feelings, etc. I think someone needs to open it clearly to her but im not sure how well that will go given she gets pretty offensive and refuses to do confrontations when the problem is put to her face.

Many of the events, to me, were written in the perspective of the ones feeling them. Mika, Fumi, and many other characters have pushed their insecurities onto Mitsumi, and have grown from it because they realize, at the end of the day, she isn't malicious, and she might not 'think' about others emotions but the decisions she makes to warrant those reactions are only because the characters reacting have pre-existing insecurities or dependencies on mistumi (mainly fumi on that one).
I think these events though are good stepping stones to being more aware of others, but not much of what she has done has put anyone else in a clearly bad position.

Her friends are oming to terms with their insecurities through Mitsumi, and Mitsumi is slowly growing to be understand these better through her friends. Shima has pushed his insecurities onto her and lacked the ability (as of yet) to recognize what he truly wants, Fumi and her sister pushed their insecurities of a close friend/family member moving onto bigger things and the fear of abandonment, Mika pushed her insecurities of self esteem onto Mitsumi. Everyone is learning from each other in a circle

Mitsumi had moments of thinking of others like at the zoo, she considered that Shima's taken the day out but she was feeling too hot to continue or perhaps her ending her "going out" with Shima, it felt like she did it for him.

I just hope that he realizes that living for others is great, but for that he needs to live for himself too. Being a little “egotistical” (if you want to put it that way) is the way for him not to lose himself and hurt others in the process.
