| This chapter was kind of nuts, I didn't expect that one guy to ever escape the archmage, and also didn't really expect the archmage to be able to defend against the contamination. At least not how they showed it, I figured since his daughter could, maybe he could but more or less in a saint way. It's pretty nice Ariadne finally let her guard down and trusts those 2, but I can't believe how far the duke is going. Unfortunately there is no way his suggestion could work if Ariadne herself speaks up. |
