| So I happen to own the original Japanese booklet this was released in from the movies and it's honestly really cool they just give these babies out. Similar to how the BNHA manga's are released, the booklet has a nice jacket that has Hori's mangaka mascot and thoughts on the movie: Sorry my lighting is pretty dark: Majority of the booklet is just information on the movie. Sketches and character mocks of everyone in the movie. Along with interviews from the seiyuu and some WSJ editors thoughts on the movie. This is the structure for all 3 books that were released with the movie. The manga in this one is probably the shortest of all but genuine cause I really love Kacchan, Deku, and Todoroki as a trio and their friendship really shines here along with their frustrations from the Endeavor Agency arc which is when this "movie" is suppose to take place. Also Deku and Kacchan both being nervous in the exact same way but with their own eccentricities. I wish we got more of this in the main story. This did get adapted into an OVA that came out with the movie's Japanese release. It was never dubbed and from my understanding it did not get licensed by Viz, they did license the one from Heroes Rising which is on the WSJ app (it's weird and I don't get it). Hori's art as always is stand out; even for a 9 page comic for this booklet that most fans probably won't even read. But it's good. So expressive and make's Rody look less like a loser then he does in the movie. His art truly heals the broken. And if you're interested, Daiki, Nobu, and Kaji did a little voice dub to it before the ova released. It's really cute when it's not practiced. Anyways. Best thing to come out of this movie release. 👌 |
