Ah yes, the theme of revenge. It may be a recurring trend in this show but tough girls are tough girls. They do what they feel like in their heart.

I love how they protray the drama in this anime though. It's not overly dramatic but serious enough for story narratives. There's the fighting, gangs, bikes that represents a theme of rebellious nature. Background storytelling seems interesting too.

It's clear that the fight that Rokudo is expecting, it's the least of the problems if Ranna is not dragged into the problem as well.

Azami clearly being lead to Onishima Union's biker gang, and Rokudo's team is like a wannabe Tokyo Revengers scene of the minions challenging an even bigger gang, which thanks to some hooligans, Ranna caught wind of it. The game of tag of Iinuma and the rest against the Union, rather than fighting against the gang on bikes, strategies are needed, which dangerous as they are a risk, they get the job done. Despite Ranna appearing on scene, him facing off against Aoi will prove his pride that he can make it without Ranna.

Though the backstory with Aoi and Azami with the former's motorbike that caused the ruckus from years ago, this is a revenge game that puts Aoi on the forefront of his ethics, and everything of both Rokudo and Azami to pursue finishing the job, by hook or by crook. Aoi honoured his word by providing the address of the police officer that caught him before he was struck down, and since he lost, Azami dragged him to the police box to see him.

The bike touring trip, and Azami...is just an airheaded bad girl. Like a prince on a white horse, she's the Prince Charming instead. All's well that ends well.

So Rokudou convinced Azami to give up on revenge against  Aoi and his biker gang and has now settled on being Rokudou's personal driver. She's still a speed demon on the motorbike.

Probably the best episode of the series so far since Rokudo got thru this situation on his own for the most part. Azami and Aoi backstory was definitely anime-y as hell but that reunion with their friend at the end was genuinely cute. Azami is finally free with her Prince Charming

I was hoping she would have asked Aoi turn around his life and become a cop just to have a nice redemption, but still it was nice to see that Aoi genuinely cared and liked the cop and that the cop held no grudges against him and was happy to see them both.

Although Azami was planning to face Aoi and his gang alone, she wasn’t expecting Rokudo and the boys to roll up lol, I really enjoyed how everyone played a role in the confrontation, maybe besides Chief but he did help fight with Iinuma off screen lol. I particularly enjoyed Colonel’s bit, it may not have been a perfectly badass moment but crashing your bike into the enemy works too lol.

And before Rokudo and Azami ended up defeating Aoi together we learned that there’s more to what happened in the past between Aoi and Azami, very crucial info but the reveal was cool, so Aoi isn’t that bad of a guy and didn’t intentionally injure that cop, and speaking of the cop he and Azami ended up meeting up with him again which was a nice end to their arc. And in the end, despite the issues being resolved, Azami still rides like a madwoman lol, she is definitely a “bad girl”.

And lastly Ranna’s bits in this one were nice, it was cool how despite her finding out Rokudo was in danger she still waited for him and didn’t intervene, except for those bikers she fucked up when she first arrived lol.

This shit just keeps on getting worse and worse, it's too goofy, and the art style doesn't help. Not sure I like any character so far either. Maybe the little boss loli.

Disappointed with this episode.
Seems the author was not even able to have an actual villain, he had to make the bad guy seems like a good guy.... which makes the whole story ridiculous.
Honestly, it doesn't make sense that a girl who had been launching random attack against a gang would just become the chief of the gang because they play a game...
Well, in the first place, it doesn't make sense that a girl would show up alone against 50 people.
Well, to be honest, nothing make sense in this anime.
The two friends of Rokudo were too afraid to fight against one single guy in their classroom, and now they show up to fight a gang of 50 people ? Just because they "believe" in a guy who can't even fight one person ? Yeah, sure...
Rokuduo is so smart, he prefers to have his own friends getting beat up than a girl when the girl is the only one who can fight ? (magically, again, girl can beat 50 people in this anime no problem, no matter if they are 1.4 meter height with no apparent muscle or 1.7 meter with a wood sword).
Also, game of tag was really lame, since we never seen the villain doing anything "risky". Also, who the hell would let his enemy riding the same bike (just make him drop out of this bike) ?
Well, yeah, as I said, 99.9% of this episode was pure nonsense.
I never understood the concept of having a gang trying to beat up people (50 against 1) but since they didn't manage to beat them up, everything is fine.
Well, I guess the worst part is how the game of tag ends up, so, you're telling me a random girl can keep Rukodou above the ground, in front of her, with one hand when Rokudou was falling of his bike ?
Physics is dead, I guess.
Ridiculous episode and ridiculous concept.
I was hoping for a good villain and got the only villain who was buddy buddy with a cop.

A somewhat trite resource to turn the bad guy into a character that you don't despise so much after knowing his background and the story of the accident he had some time ago, but anyway this chapter is a victory because I feel that the Rokudo strengthened ties with the Ranna , satisfied I go.

Oh well, Rokudou bags in another one for his harem, one with a bosouzoku-ojousama moe gap this time.

Kind of cheesy. I also thought that if it weren't for the magic Rokudou has, Azami might even fall for Aoi instead. But then the magic did help to snap Azami out of the rage she is in.

"You've never hooked up with any group before. Why're you helping these losers?"
"One them has his name on the title."

Aoi tearing up from the bike cop being alright is my favorite moment so far. Would like this show more than I already do if it had more of that kinda stuff.

Im glad Azami chilled out some on being such an authoritarian control freak. Amusing to further see the cop she idolized was actually pretty chill a guy not a total hardass.

Am I the only one who got pissed off at this episode? They were playing a very dangerous game, they could've hurt themselves and some bystanders around them. It already happened to that police guy, dunno wtf is wrong with that Aoi guy, if that didn't teach him a lesson back then. I mean its just really annoying cause there are some people like that IRL and someone unrelated ends up being hurt because of them.

Glad someone pointed all that out. I agree this story has little to no logic in it. Makes it very hard to get invested in it. I never liked 1 v 50 fights either, especially when there are no abilities, just makes no sense.
