Sacrificial Princess and the King of Beasts
| Basically what the title says. Anime rarely get tagged shoujo lately, meaning 'specifically targeted for a girl audience'. In example: Tensei Oujo to Tensai Reijou no Mahou Kakumei which has two female MC's, and feels targeted at the young girl demographic doesnt get the tag. The only time I still see the tag is because it is a reverse harem. Is it? Or what makes it specifically shoujo |
| Cause its adapted from a shoujo manga. The manga was shoujo because it was published in a shoujo magazine. It was published in a shoujo magazine because its target audience was girls. Just because the target audience is girl doesn't mean that boys can't enjoy it. Many guys enjoy shoujo anime while many females enjoy shone anime. |

I already do not like the harem trope, and reverse harem is definitely a big no go for me then. I did not know about the magazine part, which makes alot of sense. I absolutely agree with the latter part, both men and women that i know who watch anime say the same. |
