| Sakura looks great in a pony tail and that bikini, love her. On the other hand, Tsubasa has a better build than I expected. Ageha is starting to get Juvia-level annoying. The ED is okay, the previous one was 10x better. The new OP is better than the new end but still not as good as the previous one. I do like its instrumental though. |

| We got more of the same, Sakura catching Ageha and Rinne together and not caring about it, that's the only thing I liked about it. Meh, the previous opening song was better. |

| New OP and ED. I like the OP but it concerns me that 80% of it was reused animation. One detail I like though was the scene of Sakura giving Rinne some money changed. At first in the first OP, it was a 10 yen coin. Then it changed to a 50 yen coin at some point later on. And now it's 100 yen. The ED is 95% reused animation. There's only ONE different scene. Only the song is different. It's such a shame too. OP1 and ED1 songs were great and also became memorable. The laziness makes me feel more hopelessness for the rest of the season. Wish the studio just kept the first OP and ED. Holy shit. I didn't think Ageha would be this aggressive. She's like the Shampoo of this series. The well scene reminded me of a Maison Ikkoku episode. Also, Sakura in swimsuit is way too cute. Now that the love triangle (or polygon cause Jumonji's in it too even if it's hopeless) is more set up, something clicked with me. Sakura is like the complete opposite of previous Rumiko heroines like Kagome and Akane. She's not jealous or clingy. Or at least, she doesn't react in a way that shows her jealousy. One of the biggest criticisms of past Rumiko heroines is that they have "bitchy" personalities (something I never had an issue with). It seems like Sakura Mamiya is a direct response to them. And lo and behold. She's probably the least favorite Rumiko Takahashi female lead. Though there are a few other factors I'm ignoring, it proves that listening to a vocal minority is almost always a bad idea. The story about the dead idol was sad. But the ending was a bit rushed I think. But it was cool to see the main characters dealing with a problem before it got worse for once. |
