| The episode ended before I realized: we got something a little more special than usual today. Right off the bat, no intro, which is always a good sign. More time to tell the story they want to tell, and that story covers both the past and present relationship between Tomo and Jun. Heck we even get Tomo returning the gameboy back to Jun. I thought that was something that would happen much later, something that wouldn't even be covered in this season, but it has happened. The whole thing between Jun and Misuzu as they sort-of dated also comes to light. Most of it is pretty standard highschool romance stuff, like Jun avoiding Tomo because he thought it would be best for her. But hey, it doesn't seem broken, and I think it works. What a way to end the episode with Jun realizing: "hey, she's kind of cute..." And to top it all off, a unique outro with the same song, but this time sung by the boys; and it's awesome. |

| Holy shit, I loved that special ED with the boys. I mean, this is a special episode as well, we finally got what's actually running on Jun's mind all this time, man's been running away from his feelings. Misuzu being best girl as usual. Goddamn though, that one shot of Tomo in the ED. We're nearing the end now, looking forward to the remaining episodes and for our meathead couple to get together. |

| The marathon is upon them and as usual Tomo & Jun are betting on themselves, but upon returning Tomo falls ill, I love how Jun took care of her and brought her to the infirmary. The looking back fragments were nice as well, we saw how Jun had his first relationship (kinda) with Misuzu. Tomo actually doesn't care if they think that they're dating as long as she can stay friends with Jun, which is wholesome. Jun came with the perfect line of 2023: "she's actually cute", man just realized after 9 episodes that she's cute, bruh lmao. Wholesome episode. |

| As self-appointed president of the Mifune & Ogawa fanclub, I humbly request that they be allowed to sing the ending theme song for the next episode. At least they got an appearance (and very brief lines) this episode. Still waiting for the announcement of their spin-off series. And as long as we are on the subject of alternate EDs, why not showcase the girl's moms? They are beautiful and sexy and funny. Give them the spotlight! |

| Jun and Tomo as expected got really competitive during the marathon, that was until Tomo passed out from exhaustion and Jun had to carry her to the infirmary. Whilst still placing first in the marathon!! We now know why Mizusu and Jun went out in the first place and it was pretty clear after their first date that Mizusu can't keep up with Jun. Mizusu's reaction to Jun breaking up with her first was golden. She as utterly defeated. It was nice to see Jun and Tomo make up in the end as they hadn't really talked to each other for a year. That ED as well was pretty good as well. With all the male leads being featured. |

| Hell yeah we got all the boys singing the end credits. More flashback this episode specifically focuses on Jun. Jun finally admits Tomo is cute as well. Maybe they'll be going out by the end of this thing but I'm not sure. |

| I like how the marathon was used as a springboard to develop Jun and Tomo's relationship. It is also interesting to see the details behind when Jun and Gundo were dating. |

| Weird and disappointing how they changed the development of her fever. From early signs of her feeling tired- unless that was last episode and I already forgot... but they completely changed the scene of Jun passing her by, cheering to himself in his mind, thinking he finally beat Tomo, with a close-up on him, making the audience think that's what happened, until we hear he thud and he realizes she colapsed. They even revealed Misuzu and Jun going out before Tomo finds out about it... what a useless odd way to change the timing of these events. Originally, Jun blurts it out, Tomo finds out, then questions Misuzu who then tells her. After that, maybe we get another flashback from Jun when she asks him if I remember right. Pissed Middle School Tomo was great though, including her crying and how adorable she was afterwards. Funny that now Jun and the rest of the guys does the ending theme. |
| wtf did i just watch? they finished the marathon (Present) after the marathon Jun heard Tomo "No way i go out with him" then they stopped talking with each other cose of that. Then a year passed and Jun started dating Gundo to make Tomo jealous? or to make up with her, idk but in reality that happened in the past, way before the marathon, they even showed the same thing in previous episodes. I am so confused |
