| The capital marks the place of new meetings and chance encounters, like Touko and Kanata being chased by a watchman, only to encounter Kira on the streets. The same Okibi daughter taking care of Koushi, whom he has just witnessed a bloodbath of the fiends against the fire hunter Roroku, with her father Yuoshichi hiding tenuous amounts of secrets. Koushi, trying to match the intensity of the disaster he felt back then, this does not come close to what he's researching for. Touko, Kaho and the wounded Shouzou taking shelter with Akira and Kun, they're in dire spirits right now. But Kaho making the deicison as a bride-to-be, and helping people for all her life, marrying Shouzou is the only way she can atone for his sacrifices. Despite Akira heading out to roam for spiders to kill to have enough money to pay the doctor, Kanata isn't hers to deal with. While Kun gets a recluse moment, Touko requesting Kanata to bring her to his owner's home, but encountering a spy, Koushi drags them on the run as far as they could. Finally, Koushi and Kanata are reunited, and learning of his father Haijuu whom died to save Touko's life, the circle has finally come around. But Touko must escape the capital quick of the attach impending from the spiders (of which their spies have descended), and both have to work together to save and share of their experiences. Would be interesting to see how this goes from here. |

| Fates collide as the capital is the place where Koushi, Kira, and Touko all reside at the moment. It was great seeing Kanata and Koushi's reunion, and them running away from spies together. It seems like a fight will break out against the spiders soon, and knowledge of this is necessary, so Touko and Koushi will share their insights and experiences, and that's sure to be good. Meanwhile, Kaho, who has helped people all her life, decides that since she was saved by Shouzou's sacrifice, she'll marry him, much to the joy of Touko, who likes this pairing. I hope Shouzou is able to wake up, although he'll never be the same again physically. Overall, a lot of intrigue this episode, and things are picking up. |
| Is good that everyone have one person to give each other a heads up. "Hey, run away while you can." If by the looks, looks like Kun can see what the beetle see. I almost would say that took too long to Touko meet Koushi, but is still episode 7, so that's okay. |

| So it finally happens. Touko and Koushi meet up, glad touko was able to clear the air so koushi knows his dad was a hero and not a coward. Kanata seems like he wants to stick with Touko though, honouring his master’s last wish. The forbidden quarter should be fun next week. Some more cool in universe lore dropped as well, so I’m wondering is sky fire just bombs dropped from planes? And lightning in a bottle are just mines? That’s a cool ability that Kun has being able to use bugs as his eyes and ears. |

| Another intriguing episode. Koushi and Touko finally met and it seems there won't be any hard feelings coming from him given his father died in an honorable way. Those CGI bugs tho... |
| I'm glad that Touko and Koushi finally met and that Touko was able to accomplish her mission. While Koushi had to hear the sad news that his father passed away he was glad that he died honorably by saving Touko. It looks like Touko goes with Akira in the next episode, and possibly with Kanata, so I'm wondering if Touko could be training to be a fire hunter. |
| Roroku is a badass character I look forward to see more! I wonder what the ace roaming hunter so dislikes about the patriarch of the Okibi house and the capital. Because from what we have seen, the old man seems to have the best intentions. He surely can't be all that bad if he raised a daughter that sweet, right? Maybe this has to do with Roroku's place of origins or his nomadic status... |

| Too bad lots of people dropped this or never gave it a chance. One of the most interesting shows this season IMO. Though yes, it's a pity this wasn't done by some famous studio. Deserved better. |
| We finally reached the capital and I like how everyone is meeting due to Kanata being recognised. Trouble brewing on the horizon with invasions. Dodgey lords playing games. tree folks and forbidden quater. Shadow like creatures acting as gods spies. What is there not to love about this show. Dude even took his dads death on the chin but I guess finding out he died a hero rather than him just abandoning his kids soften the blow a whole lot. Next eps pls! |

| The finally met so it means we aren't getting two parter script structure anymore. The AD work was poor in certain shots. |
| Okay... Wtf was that animation at 10:58 LOL It doesn't even seem like an odd animation choice like in most cases before. No, that looks like a mistake. I think the same could be said about Kanata's eye changing through out this episode. I love the story, but man I wish the animation was a bit better Speaking of the story however, what is this sudden romance between Shouzou and that other girl who would rather die than get married? That came out of nowhere bro I'm honestly so split with how I feel about this anime now. It's so janky at certain parts, but I also can't help but love the story, because it really is interesting and it's really picking up speed now. I feel like if they cut out certain parts, I really wouldn't mind |

This started out as one of the more interesting anime of the season, but now? I'm not really sure. I get more enjoyment out of other anime from this season. I think I will watch this to the end but yeah it's definitely not as high on my list as it was at the start |

| Oh the girl from the train arc decide to marry the train worker man. Now that's the wise decision considering how she's comes from and the circumstances why she's still alive. Hope the best from both, but i feel like red flag still flying high since the spider child was there spacing out? Meanwhile, Kira encounter really brought Touko and Kanata into Koushi even though if its use such a surprising matter later on. Meeting with Spy, Gods familiar. Then the treefolks from the Capital. Not to mention Koushi plan against Spider attack toward the Capital soon. Seems like the next three last episode will be on fire... |
