| This side story was incredibly fleshed out, definitely the best part of the whole series. I was like whaaaaaaat when it was revealed that Upa got Qi's organs. Nico going berserk was hype as shit. |

| Nico took those hits like a champ. Too bad he wasn't the one that took down Hachiman. It was interesting seeing more of Qi's past. He gave his organs to Upa. He's scary when he's serious. |

| It wasn't for very long but it was fun watching Nico in that form. Hachiman was a really strong opponent, no wonder the doctor had to use something like that to beat him. |

| So Hachiman is now defeated. That took awhile. The doctor is cool as shit. Especially with him making medicine that can manipulate someone into choking themselves to death. Ridiculous, but effective in the long run. |

| This episode was so amazingly done. The storytelling was incredible perhaps the best in whole Nanbaka? They took 3-4 characters who most people didn't care about and made them so likable that it feels bad not to like them. REally top notch stuff. just the episode alone makes this anime one of the best of the season. Was nice to find out more about Qi. That hearwarming moment when we learned that he gave away his organs to Upa was great. What a guy honestly, he knew that the life of that boy is ruined now, so he gave away his organs since he doesn't think he is worthy of them after having done so many bad things. The way the handled Hachiman was great too. At first i thought it's gonna go cliche route where Nico goes crazy and defeats him and then he is out of control and others will need to handle him, but Man oh man it was done so splendidly amazing. Nico gets stopped by Qi who then goes and backstabbs Hachiman and then we get to know more about Qi and how he hopes for a better future in prison now for all of them, then Hachiman wakes up and he defeats him with his brain now brawn. Seriously clap clap. Cause it looked like Hachiman is really that unbeatable machine, and if he went down due to someone overpowering him it would be too cliche and too lame and too disappointing. but he was OUTSMARTED, which is way cooler and less cliche. Also i noticed how the common theme of Nanbaka is how life was awful for most people and now in Nanba they love their lives and they hope to have a better life, everyone hoping for a better future. Oh forgot to mention that Samon became VERY likable this episode. he is not a bad guy we know that, but we learned that he is very caring for his inmates, Qi was even shocked with how kind he was thinknig IS he really the traitor that everyone talk about. Just a small detail but i love how Hachiman said that building 5 is a Traitorous building after all, it's kinda true, Them 3 all betrayed Hachiman, and Samon's brother a traitor as well. |
