Is this going to be fully adapted in one season?

Now that the season is over halfway finished (7/13) is it looking like it will be a complete one season adaptation? I haven't started watching it yet so no spoilers thanks.

I'm pretty sure it will. The anime started a few years after the manga ended and 4-koma adaptations always cover many chapters in 1 episode.

well there's a ton of chapters so I think they'll probably need a Season 2

I'm sure they will adapt everything in one season. As of the latest episode (7), I checked the manga and the anime was almost halfway through all of it (around 450 chapters)

So there "chapters" are actually pages. If you look it up on here there are 56 actual chapters which is in 8 volumes. But yeah the anime is about halfway through the manga so it will more than likely be only one season

that 450 "chapters" is actually the number of pages. It's done weird but when you look at ut on here they have 56 chapters across 8 volumes and the anime is about halfway through the manga

no it's already the 450th chapter in manga right now so I'm sure I'll be enough

It's possible they could finish the story in 12 episodes, 13 would be a good fit but they are missing a few key pages from the manga that really should hit the anime. I think they could fit 3 ova episodes in and fully do it justice.

I'd also like a non manga scene to be created to tie up the one hanging thread from the manga that was never addressed

Dang that’d be sad if it’s just a one and done sort of thing unless the manga comes up with a ton more chapters to be adapted. I’d love to see a season 2 for this show I love it so much

They cut some dialogue, skimmed through some scenes, cut portions, changed tiny things, but yeah, it's clearly a full adaption in 13 episodes even if it's slightly rushed with a lot cut in portions.
