| I think you're probably right about chapter 53, just depending on the characters. I really don't think they would stop in the middle of that section of the story, and there's a pretty satisfying character moment that would work pretty well to end a season on. Well, at least assuming this is going to be two cours. If it is one cour, then this anime is a lost cause. The pacing issues would be immediately noticable, and I'd drop it pretty quick. If it's two cours, I actually think it could work pretty well. Helck is a pretty dense manga, and there's a lot of optional extra content they could adapt that would really add to the flavor of the show. If we take that into account, I think they could probably fill two cours quite nicely if they go up to that point. If they still have room to fill, chapters 54 and 55 could also be used as good stopping places, but the section of the story right afterward is pretty long. |

I'm inclined to believe you when you say that six months worth of episodes might seriously not be enough to properly adapt the whole work, but at the same time I just don't see the Helck anime's production committee greenlighting Helck as a 26+ episodes TV anime. |
