| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Maybe its just me, but if I'd just found out that my mother, whom I hadn't seen for 7 years because she was too busy with work, had spent the last 3 years playing a game instead of talking to me, I'd be seriously pissed. Also, isn't Athena supposed to be a speed type? why was Shirahime able to match her speed? and why was she able to toss of such powerful blows without bothering to build momentum with spins and what not? |
| By this point they're just completely ignoring strengths and weaknesses - although they keep mentioning them, it's always a "wow x person did that which y should be strong against". We so nearly made it through a "naa" free episode, but Mi-naa-ki had to spoil it at the end. And the pile of corny and stupid cliches continues to grow. The universe is creaking and groaning under the weight of them all. |

| No doubt. I wouldn't blame her if she was pretty peeved with her mom. Shuko even said "at some point I got hooked on Angelic Layer" which def makes it sound like she was ignoring her kid to game, lol. Also, I'm just giving up on any expectations of the authors making sense with the physics. Now we have a doll throwing balls of energy?? Christ, just declare this world has magic and be done with it hehe |
