Now, while this probably won't be affecting the movie, with it probably being in the works by the director right before he leaves, and he works as a freelancer as Sunghoo Park did for Jujutsu Kaisen, this will affect any and all sequels, and more than likely, this is the last Zombieland saga content to come out from him.

Almost definitely. Park was working on JJK Zero as a freelancer, and most likely, Sakai will be doing the same.

Hang on..so the movie will still be released? But.. How about future seasons of this show? Will those not be a possibility anymore?

I mean, I'm not sure. Zombieland Saga is a Cygames property, but it also has investment by MAPPA, so I don't think it'll be used other than maybe spinoffs.

Loved the two seasons we got but I won't lie my hope for this movie actually releasing is wavering with each day that passes.

So when can we announce the time of death on this movie? It's been 2,5 years with no updates, my hope for it releasing is now less then 25% (!_!)
