| Pretty good show overall. I liked the nod to Dawn of the Dead at the end. |
| Pretty entertaining first half but it sort of faded out from there, in my opinion. Cinematography, excluding for ecchi purposes of course, was the highlight for me this show, to be honest. Intriguing camera angles and zoom-outs among more, in particular. Action choreography was pretty darn fine too and the Animation, as a whole, really good. Character Designs was a bit ridiculous though but I reckon that was about it. Some of the Soundtracks, ED themes and the Op really shone through too, in my opinion. No major complaints on the VA side either so this is another department well done. Story-line was fairly meh, to keep it short. Obviously, there's the factor of the story being only half-complete but the circumstances are understandable. One of the lows for me was undoubtedly the character of Shidou-sensei though, he literally got re-introduced for a couple of minutes and then ditched right away so it kind of begs the question "what was the bloody point in the first place then?" Technically, he's responsible for the zombie raid in the end there but that's more to do with unintentional means. USA bits were honestly hilarious and I just couldn't take that seriously. And the missiles, was that really needed? As for the main cast of characters, Busujima-senpai and Hirano easily shined the brightest. Komuro wasn't half-bad a MC (and Suwabe Junichi is always a plus) either but the whole relationship between Miyamoto, Higashi and him left a bit more to be desired. Alice was a nice addition too I suppose and the Sensei's involvement doubtful as always xD. Tending to Miyamoto because of the infamous boob scene, driving and using her friend's place are the only things she brought to the team that really come to mind but I suppose that was the whole charm behind her in the first place. Character interactions, overall, was a nice treat to watch. As such, all in all, I'll settle with a slightly harsh but solid 5/10 score. Definitely was on a strong 6/10 and possibly 7/10 at around Episode 4-5 or so (rounded off, that is) but then the final arc sort of brought it down. I knew that Ecchi was going to be a forefront when it comes to this show but I couldn't help but be a little bothered by it even then, especially in the mid-episodes where it was stacked along with the action scenes with some awkward cuts here and there. Edit: Going to settle with a very generous 6/10 (5.50/10) after all. Might bring it down to a 5 in the near future but I feel like a 6 is more true to my experience. It happens to be my policy to rate an entry higher when I’m struggling to decide between two scores (5 & 6, in this case) so here’s another instance of that, I suppose. |

| So this series clearly was supposed to have a second and never got it, great. I have to say, the first half of the series was great, I really enjoyed it. But from episode like 8 onward, it lost me. I think the worst part is the fact that I will never know what caused the zombie apocalypse. Overall, I give it a 6/10, enjoyed it, but was not anything insane. |

| Nice episode. I've spent today watching this anime, and I can say that it's a catching one. Too much ecchi through the story, but I'm gonna let this pass. A 7/10 for me. |

| I went in with 0 expectations and I enjoyed this mindless entertaining anime. The boob physics were too funny. I mean the portrayal of what happens to humanity in times of pandemic are pretty damn close to what could actually happen if there was such a thing as zombie attack irl. I’d give it a 8/10 cus I enjoyed it. |

| Great anime, kinda unfair that Japan (or only some area of it) got hit with EMP and why in the first place US would target it at its allies? Too bad that Satou Daisuke didn't live to see pandemic in real world and give us more of this story, but he left us some great work. I wonder if there is much more in manga? They are in Taiwan at the end? Taiei as Taipei? So many things I would love to see how it plays out.. I enjoyed it more than Walking Dead. |

| Was that really it? I have to say, I'm pretty disappointed with this ending. If this wasn't the final episode it would've been a good episode, but knowing that this is the final one was just kinda anticlimatic and lacklustre. Like, after the ending started playing my first thoughts was "Is this actually the final episode?" The cinematics and scenery on this episode were almost winning me over too, and I was so happy to finally see some good action again but the ending just completely killed it for me |

| HOTD starts off as enjoyable, captivating, and you just want to see more. But as the anime goes on, I just find myself bored with it. No matter how many times I try to watch it, I always end up being bored. I would still like a season 2. |
