I'm loving the mystery going on regarding Xiao Wu and her connection to Soul Beasts - there's obviously more going on than meets the eye with her. Between her reluctance to kill Soul Beasts both now and during the Star Dou Forest arc, the way she's gained her last two Soul Rings off-camera through complete coincidence (according to her, at least), and her connection with the Titan Giant Ape, something strange is going on and I'm looking forward to finding out what it is.

this. seems like she can acquire rings without killing beasts. which would seem to be a nice trick to help her teammates with, in order to not kill the animals. but i guess there's a reason why she can't tell anyone

MC is still supposed to "hide his strength?" What is there left to hide? He's shown all 4 skills, his soul bone, his new variant of level 4 skill, his ability to use martial arts which seem on par with attack martial soul abilities, and his hammer (just to win a battle, not to save his life, and despite promising not to). He has no more hidden strength that we've seen and his opponents haven't.
