| I see this episode has focused on Menori's character development. Her parents really contributed a lot to her climb, especially her mother. But I still think it was boring though, trying to make us care for character puu puu! |

| when the camera panned down to only the beach floor being beneath her versus the distance of the ledge she was barely holding on to, despite knowing that this is a children's anime and she wouldn't just fall to her death like this, it was actually nerve-wracking. people underestimate how much physical strength you're really in need of in that situation to pull yourself up in real life and dying in this manner yearly. menori should not have even attempted to climb those cliffs without any ropes or anyone else to help and watch out. not to mention that the cliffs are as smooth as a calcite's cleavage if not owing to animation limitations. no matter how she wanted to prove a point with the ideals and advice of her parents that ultimately saved her life by way of motivation, that she didn't even think to bring or make any supplies (which we know the crew does have) was not so bright. goddamn eggs at the cost of your life. so, luna indeed has the power to invade the memories and thoughts of any living organism; animal or not. for a 'leader' with high eq, this is fitting. but it'd be for the best if she learnt how to autonomously activate it as it seems to currently invade now privy to one's personal thoughts unconsciously, perhaps influenced by the other's internal wishes to be understood in that moment. or that willingness is the easiest passage for the inexperienced luna and the future will allow for a truly unbarred access (including possible communications) with practice. |
