| Many more characters made appearances this episode and it's neat to finally get some new content. I have to admit, Koharu is full of energy as president of the mountain climbing club. Aoi is also admirable for her determined attitude to prove herself. Respect. |

| Aoi simply cant catch a break when comes to attracting super hyperactive characters, cant she. Also, why did it took us this long to introduce a hiking club xD, of all the things, lol. Was a bit surprised by Aoi's lack of stamina there, she should be there and back in no time with all the climbing and running she did at this point. Still, that is definitely, a very cute running they did. |

| I think I understand why Hinata did not want to join the climbing club. The club is serious and more focusing competitive climbing while Hinata prefers the casual side. As well as, Aoi who enjoys more on the scenery of the route and summit more than just reaching the summit and then descending. Location: Mt. Bukou |

| Finally we get to see the new content and as expected, this episode introduces Koharu. For context, the original chapter the first half of the episode adapts from is set between the first episode of the Second Season Specials and the first episode of season three - so basically the adaption is all over the place, but it has been for quite some time and honestly I think it works without any problems. Seeing Aoi finding what she enjoys the most about mountaineering and ultimatily turning down the club invitation is quite a lot of character growth, at an earlier point she probably would have gone along with it just because she was too shy to say no. Really cool to see. While the first part was adapted from volume 6 of the manga, the second half seems to be adapting from volume 12, which not only is quite some time ahead, but also is probably the furthest adapted chapter so far (if you are not counting the chapter from volume 20 that was adapted at the beginning of episode 3). Quite enjoyable to see Aoi training, but honestly, there is a big difference between training and going way over your limits. And Aoi's mother should probably have known better that that they are doing is a bit much. Maybe it was just another way of getting Aoi to quit mountain climbing, but maybe it was also just a bit overly dramatic. Either way, I'm really enjoying the new content. On a side note, so far the adaption speed is quite well paced, we have made it to the end of November which isn't too far off from where the last season ended. Also, it's gonna be interesting to see what will be adapted next, because the second part of this episode was actually set in the following spring. At least if my understanding doesn't deceive me. So maybe we'll get more stories that are moved to autumn. |
| Finally we get to the real beginning of the new season! Seeing how the club operates was surely a good experience for Aoi and it's understandable that she isn't really into joining it as it seems much more serious. The second half was also quite nice and it was nice to see Aois mother join in for a climb, but poor Aoi having to carry so much. |
| Well finally we arrive at the new episodes tho they skipped a lot in the previous episodes, so if you like this anime and you have not seen the previous season i really recommend watching them. The club seems like an option but i wonder if it will contribute in a good way seeing the members. As for the climb with Aoi's mother it was funny she was pretty harsh on the girls with their training she probably had good intentions tho. And Hinata waiting after school was nice of her. |

| The wait for this new episode after 4 episodes of recaps was absolutely worth it, I loved it. The animation is great as usual, but the first half of the episode deserves a lot of praise especially. Also, Koharu is great! |

| I haven't seen the original seasons as Crunchyroll owns the distribution rights and won't air it in the United States. This was very nice and gave me the same warm vibes as "Laid Back Camping." Possibly too similar, as it has the same, stubborn girl who refuses to join the club because she'd rather be alone. Looking forward to the remainder of the season. |

| Well that could have gone worse. I was afraid Aoi had overestimated her mom's ability to climb just to get her and Hinata onto the mountain. Didn't expect the 4-hour figure to be too accurate for Aoi if it was coming from the mountaineering club. Luckily they got there and back with energy to spare. |
| And now the actual season starts, which is nice. Poor Aoi though, all worn out since she's not physically fit & it was nice seeing Honoka even for a little bit. Hopefully Koharu'll be an interesting new character. |
