| So, I haven't watched the Free! series yet and heard about it through this new movie adaptation, which is supposed to be a prequel. However, I read that it is about the characters their past, so I was wondering if it would be better to watch the series first to see this movie at its fullest potential. Any suggestions? |

Also, you'll already know the personalities and backgrounds of the characters, so you'll understand why certain things are happening and why they are so important. I just watched the movie yesterday. I do think people could watch the movie first and then the series, and still enjoy it. But I would still recommend checking out the series first. Ok tnx, will watch the series first then! |

Watch both seasons because Rin's best friend and their story which is tied in our movie is explored there |

| No, please don't start off with this movie. You will feel nothing unless you already understand the characters beforehand, like Makoto and Haru. The movie is only good if you watched S1 and S2 and love all the characters. @chuuee Dude open up your PMs to non-friends since I can't PM you back!!! |
