| Watching previous seasons wouldn't hurt but the story is not that complicated. Plot in this is really simple. You have good guys and bad guys and they fight between eachother and there is plot twist, some of the bad guys are fighting together with good guys and so on. Every season at that point is repetetive, but there are some characters from previous seasons and it's good to know background to fully understand what happened in this show. Even so you can have fun watching this even without knowing everything what happened in previous seasons. And one more thing. This show has kinda inflated rating and that's because this is climax of the story. In my opinion this show doesn't stand out much comparing to previous seasons. Give it 3 eps and if you like it, start from first season or symphogear G (first season was poorly made in terms of animation and plot. It explains Chris motives and what's going on with moon, but imo this isn't worth it. you can always ready a summary). |

| It's a direct sequel, so yes, you should. Especially since this season beings back old characters and plot threads from previous seasons. This season has a high score only because fanbase is very niche, yet very dedicated. Keep that in mind. If you can stomach infuriatingly awful protagonist, you'd kinda enjoy it. |
