Is the anime adapting the LN or the manga?

I know there episode 1 is the only one episode that has been released as of right now, but i want some speculations at least. Because some things are different in the LN and the manga, for example: Amanda's first appearance

It's minor changes. Some minor story beats are added, removed. Character designs are very slightly different.

It shouldn't matter to anime only watchers. Enjoy the story :)

Plus, a LN Volume 2 character has other personality, compared to her LN version. Its shown in the trailer, so probably they will adapt that.

I know who you mean, but i don't remember her being very different in the Manga vs LN.

One of the biggest difference so far in the manga is how the first arc of what would be season 2 is constructed.
