Ah, this show is already getting the attention of the weebs, that's a bad sign. The original manga was good, so I don't want this to become another hit on twitter.

Well, it's a music show, so they've chosen VA, which is basically a typecast for music shows. And as expected, such VAs mostly act in idol shows.

PV looks great, one of the show I most anticipate from next season.

Hope it turns out well cause it seem they're behind on production a bit from what it's director & character designer posted on twitter.

Think of it as K-ON!, which is devoid of excessive moe and is really about the life of a rock band.

The animation and direction look pretty good, at least better than I thought it was going to look based on seeing the key visual for the anime while skimming through the seasonal anime. Always cool to see anime adaptations of manga about fictional bands, because you can actually hear what the bands music sounds like.

It sure looks like the first lesbian couple is already officially confirmed =) I love it,,YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES

If I remember, a side character, a former MC's classmate. They do not have any relationship, this is just the author's illustration for the announcement of the anime adaptation amd Happy Valentine.

There is no romance or even fan service in this manga at all, it is literally a musical SoL from an experienced musician about the life of young musicians. He even said directly in an interview that he wanted to write an "adult" story about musicians, unlike K-ON! .

These compilation movies need to die already. It is stupid to pay and spend time in a theatre to see it (in japan) when you can stream it for free on any streaming service in Japan.
