Vigilante's Canon ?

With the spin off ending and we now know the whole of these characters stories what do you think the chances are that we will see all these characters in the main series? Me personally I believe we will and probably in this arc of the MHA manga. If they made erasers background canon why not make koichi show up and fight against all for one.

I wouldn't get my hopes up. Vigilante has been canon this whole time, but with the current officially stated plan of the main series ending before 2023 slapping down Koichi now would be strange. Especially given that every other country has pulled out of and is refusing to support Japan.

As much as I would love to see some old faces show up, like Gentle, I doubt we're getting any more surprise characters.

Yeah, I don't think Koichi is going to show up in main series. He is working in America right now and I get that he probably wants to go back home to save Japan from the crazy evil that is taking over, but to him Stars and Stripes (who was the strongest hero in the world at the time) was killed fighting that evil so how in the world would he be able to do anything? Also like the other reply says, I don't think it would make sense to show Koichi now after all this time and with the manga almost finished.

I hope they never show up in the main series. Don't need Horikoshi ruining these characters.

I hope Koichi , etc would come out as cameo at least.
to solidify their character as a canon character in main series.

albeit, there're pretty much canon since some side characters like Aizawa's best friends did came out.

but, as SirChuckles & gdawg88 said, its sounded pretty late for them to came out since we're on the last saga/arc.

I would rather see Koichi appear in the later chapters as the main series is ending. Not as a character actively in the story. More so a throwaway line from a newscaster mentioning him in the background of a panel on TV. Basically, something like: "In other words, Skycrawler, a former vigilante turned hero was seen rescuing......." Then it trails off after that. I'd say that would be the best acknowledgment. Maybe have a photo still of him appear in the broadcast as well.
