| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- so wonderful to finally get to see the original cast of characters in color for the first time! dorotabo was a wonderful addition with a little environmental preservation thrown in - preserve the rice paddies...was awesome to see neko musume in animated form for the first time (only seen her in the manga up 'til now) - very cute.........hopefully we'll get to see more fansubs of this in the near future - this was, in its' own way, as fun as the original series! |

| After running out of fansubbed episodes of both the 2007 and 1968 Gegege no Kitaro, I thought "Why not?". First thoughts are "Uh, what? What happened between episode 22 of the 60's anime and this anime?". The anime now being in color is pretty nice, and having Nezumi Otoko and Neko Musume brought in off the bat is also pretty neat. Pretty good first episode. 4.5/5 |
