I absolutely adored this anime, the series has made its way to one of my personal favorites and reminded me of what I enjoy about battle anime, it honestly was such a joy to watch and now its time to hop on the manga and if any ones curious read the series from about chapter 210 that's more or less where the canon left off

Pretty solid ending if you asked me and even though I know that these last ~15 episodes are more or less an anime original ending, it was still a pretty good one for finishing this story off! The fight was totally intense and so was the conclusion!

I did still find it a bit sad that Gash's VA was changed the last 10 episodes as that did make the atmosphere rather different, but in general I did get used to it fast to be honest.

All in all I actually do find it a bit sad that there isn't any sequel to this in terms of actually knowing who won the demon war and became king of the demon world!

That said a pretty lovely and especially fun anime in general, and that all just because I wanted to hear Wakamoto Norio in an anime again!

I didn't expect too much out of the anime original conclusion and was pleasantly surprised over how things were wrapped up considering the circumstances. Only Gash's new voice actor took a bit away from the emotional impact tbh.

I will continue with the manga.

Everything up to like the middle of the faudo arc felt refreshing and fun to watch but then came the constant fighting and defeating same enemies 2-3 times without burning their book and it felt dragging too much for me

the zeon fight tho was what it needed to be 6/10

For anyone who has watched the last 11 or so episodes of this anime that is basically an anime original filler arc- is it worth watching? Does it have its own unique ending to entirely wrap up the series or does it keep it open? Thanks.

Zatch Bell might be the reason that I started watching anime. Watching an episode after coming home from school everyday was such a fun experience. Now after finally finishing this, I have mixed feelings. On one hand I'm satisfied that at last I was able to see it through to the end after all these years. Seeing these characters, that I've known for so long but almost forgotten with time, grow and finally reach a somewhat happy conclusion felt fulfilling in a way. It felt like a void in my heart was finally filled. But on the other hand it also felt like I'd reached the end to another part of my childhood which has left me with this empty feeling. It's a little bittersweet, like I wish somewhere in my heart that I never finished this anime. Maybe I wanted to experience this feeling of watching an episode after a long day of school one more time, but now I realize it won't ever happen. I guess all I'm left now with is gratitude towards Konjiki no Gash Bell!! for introducing me to the wonderful world of anime and also making my childhood so much fun. Thank you Gash, the 8 year old me finally got to see the end of his favourite show and can sleep soundly.

Nostalgia for me. If anyone is looking to go back a couple decades it's a good watch. If you have young kids, nieces or nephews it's a great anime to put on for them to get them into this type of media.

would have been "good" if it ended about 75 episodes earlier, comedy aspect was good and the parts where they werent in the demon realm were pretty fun
later arcs got lame and tryhardy
