Hello folks, I have a question. I have watched the first two episodes of this show and so far it feels like your run of the mill coming of age sports anime. For people who have watched more, does it pick up or does it stay the same? Until which episode should I keep watching to see if i like it?

Nope it doesn't picks up or gets better anywhere

It maintains its consistency with the elements required to create a basic teenager sports anime show

Each episode deals with separate issues and I actually liked it & if you are interested in badminton then you might like it even more

It ain't rushed and is easy and fun to watch on weekly basis so it is not like it has any particular episode by which it starts getting better exponentially

Yes, I agree. I wouldn't call this "bland" it's just a chill consistent sports anime.
not every thing has to be high-octane action to satisfy my dopamine.
It's relaxing after a more stressful show or something you watch while you are eating.
No need to binge or slog through, just watch when you are feeling it.

I think it starts to get better after episode 13.. The MC will face a challenge, and i like how realistic it is in terms of how they try to find a solution to it.

"chill consistent sports anime." as previous commenter said pretty much sums it up.

I would agree that this is enjoyable...if it came out in the mid-2010s, not now.

Nowadays, most badminton are based on high-octane action just like any other sports show to keep it interesting because it's a tried-and-true formula. Sadly, all this has going for it is youthful melodrama that is actually popular back then, but that the trend had already died out once the Isekai genre just had its start.

It's a slide show throughout. The answer is never if you're looking for an engaging series. Or just a good one. Instead, go watch Ao Ashi. It's excellent and has characters with plotlines that have a much higher chance of catching your interest than Love All Play.

episode 22/24 and still waiting for it to pick up. It's incredibly bland with no redeeming qualities. The melodrama is the most barebones it can get.
