Continuing on from 2 episodes past with the secure funding of Masapi's AI technology, Team Wind is onto their next big project of being virtual VAs integrated into this RPG-looking game, the same way that companies uses this technique to capture 3DCG movements from movies to games. Only with a legit staff team behind this to get things going

The person in question is Mahoro Miyaji, whom reminisces her past being an child actress, and a time capsule buried in her old school that was dug up for collection (then buried again). And since it's in Nagoya, it's Miharu whom follows Mahoro back to collect her time capsule in her former town that has nothing but unpleasant memories dimmed with nostalgia.

A letter of a crappy essay, it's Mahoro's retrospective letter to her future self, and that in itself isn't crappy at all. It takes a leap of faith to look back to the past and be happy for who you are now. Mahoro has friends now, and Miharu did true to her word to spend time with her.

This was one of my favorite episodes so far.

It was interesting to learn more about Mahoro and her past. I loved the essay part.

This new project is pretty cool! It's something very different from their usual VA.

Those characters are so cute. :D

YES! you can be a hero by only using a shield.
I kinda don't like that virtual project that much. It's kind of weird. However, it was good for them for getting new work.

a good episode, the project is kinda eh but mahoro's past is heartwarming, and the insert song "Shizuku no Kesshou" at the end made me cry

Ok episode! Not the biggest Mahoro fan so it was kind of boring for me personally today.

Looking forward to the next episode!

Nice to see some development on Mahoro, a lot really is explained as to why she acts as she does now around her friends... it was quite a moving episode

Touching episode, one of favs in a while. This show just keeps on getting better and better for me, raised my score yet again after this one to an 8/10. Was doubtful about such a huge cast, but they balance them all out very well. I'll say it again, four groups of four was a perfect idea.

Mahoro’s turn this time. Man, that was so heartwarming! I like the concept of a time capsule here and the way they depicted Mahoro talking to her younger self and realizing how much she has changed over the years.

I liked it because the episode shows Mahoro remembering her school days and it affects her because when she was studying she also worked as a child actress and had no friends but her old school unearthed a time capsule and a friend of hers goes with it and Mahoro was shocked by what was written in the letter

Yeah its about time i got to see more of that quiet ex child actrees chick back story. Who could've guess little Mahoro wrote such an adorable essay to cheers her adult self with that time capsule? Obviously that kind of story ended up greatly impactful to the emotional as this is what i call a weakness of myself that easily touch the deep of my heart without any doubt. The bgm also touched me hard, and can't help eyes tearing too when Mahoro said she wanna time leap to hug her kid self. Damn, i wanna hug too xd ...

Also, its quite funny how the person whose accompanied Mahoro was Mahiru. By the name itself they both already match-up. So, yeah, don't worry, little Mahoro!

For the lonely childhood she had, at least now she is not alone and she saw some hope for her future, since she has friends by her side.

Lost the count of the Ara Ara's.

And who tf buries a time capsule so fucking deep that it took them a whole afternoon to dig it up.

Wasn't a very "seiyuu" episode, it went completely and abruptly off-track. Still it was quite an enjoyable episode, we got Miyaji's backstory and it was nice. The last scene almost made me tear up. Happy that Miharu isn't lonely anymore and the smol Miharu does needs a hug.

5/5.

The end of an era. Thank you Wit, Mappa and Isayama.
Feeling half happy, half sad.

Damn, it's Shield Hero but the CGDCT version!

And man, the "time capsule" concept is actually a pretty solid narrative device now that I think of it. Honestly wish it was used more often in media.

Overall, touching episode and easily among the best ones in the show so far. Love Mahoro's design but I was never a fan of her personality so I'm really glad the episode explored the reasons as for why she acts so distant towards practically everyone.

Oh, the letter she wrote as a kid is definitely sad regarding her condition back then but it's really nice to see that she read it with a friend with her, now everything evolved so I guess it's more heartwarming than sad in the end
