Was s1 a proper adaptation?

Did they made an ORIGINAL ending in S2 by not adaptating the MANGA chapters?

I heard that it's a mix between manga and anime original ending (and it was pretty bad imo).

No. the very final seconds are somewhat similar in the anime and manga (they end in the same location). tpn s2 skips out on about 15 mangas worth of content (season 1 is the first 4 books for context). it is an absolute dumpster fire dont bother watching it

There was quite a bit different but that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy the anime as a separate entity from the manga. Don’t let all the jaded fans ruin the experience for you if you want to like the anime. It’s okay.

I personally didn’t enjoy how the manga ended either so it was a lose lose situation.

The ending was different from the manga but if I wasn’t reading it I’d think it was a pretty mid tier anime, but still this season doesn’t exist.

Unfortunately yes.
The first season follows the manga well, but the second season skips some arcs and starts to diverge and also has a different ending from the manga.

My opinion, watch season 1, and continue where that left off in the manga, or just read it from the beginning, because it really good.
You can still watch season 2 of course, it’s just compared to the manga it’s disappointing…

Not sure what u are talking about, the manga wasn’t adapted into a anime after the first season.
The 2nd season was basically an tv original (and a really bad one)

Season 1 is a faithful adaptation. Season 2 is not. And yes the ending from season 2 is technically anime original. There’s actually a lot of differences between the anime and manga ending.

Yes season 2 is very different from the manga! They cut out several arcs and characters and there was some anime original content too. The ending is also very different! The only thing both endings have in common is the characters go to the human world. But the circumstances of how they get there and what happens after they arrive are completely different.
