If, instead of Pharma being the son of a Pharmaceutic and a high ranking noble, he had been born as a commoner?.

A commoner that suddenly knew a lot about medicine and would help other fellow commoners/people that were in poverty like him and couldn't afford treatment. He would make a name for himself in the commoner world for a couple of episodes and then word would spread out to nobles about a commoner making actual good medicine, followed by an arc of them intimidating Pharma and trying to shut him down for a couple of episodes (with half-success, maybe destroying a mini lab or something he had set up).

Then, for the final arc, what if the Queen was still sick and in the brick of death but an assistant of her had heard about this promising commoner pharmacist and, after all the noble pharmacists had failed, decided to recommend it to her for treatment as a final option?

Or maybe, the assistant went on his own undercover and talked to Pharma before about a "relative" being ill and at the time, was surprised by Pharma being able to identify the illness and actually having an idea about a treatment? But back then the idea of having a commoner helping the Queen was shut down by other assistants before a word of it even reached her. However, at the brick of death and without a hope this assistant decided to finally speak up to the Queen despite the other's warnings?

The ending being Pharma summoned by the Queen for treatment. Then after a successful treatment Pharma is granted and recognized as a real pharmacist and assisted with the construction of his own pharmacy? Happy ending.

Uhhhhhhhh just letting my mind wander a bit. I feel the story of Pharma we currently have could have been a bit more interesting lol.

Good idea in concept, but I think that would be just too short. Even if it wasn't, the name-sake of this anime is for him to open up his "otherworld pharmacy," so it really doesn't matter how he ends up doing so as it's all a prologue to the "beginning" of the story. Of course, having him be a commoner could be interesting, I think it would just detract from the plot line of him opening up his pharmacy and using it to spread medicine across the nation.

Actually is "Falma" (Fa-ru-ma) or "Farma" but I keep getting it wrong anyway..

Yeah I guess the main focus is the pharmacy and not his journey as a pharmacyst? Well, if something perhaps it's an interesting idea for a prologue and the "pharmacy" itself could be used for idk a second season?

The concept I'm throwing sorts of reminds me of the "bookworm" anime where she started poor but with the idea of making books available for everyone, so she started making small books or whatever of what she could, and then through effort and recognition was able to adquire more tools to make more complex books and even mass produce them. I love that show and has 3 seasons.

Both Falma and Pharma are valid, as I just checked Wikipedia. Don't know how credible this is, but I'll keep believing it is.

Ascendence of Bookworm had that exact scenario. I'm pretty sure things would go similarly.

this would have been a lot more interesting but he’s one of those overpowered mcs where everything goes their way so it makes sense

Yeah, that does sound cool. Never seen bookworm either, but that concept does appear to be entertaining. May have to watch it in the future.

Then it would have been an inferior version of "Honzuki no Gekokujou". Just like "Gaikotsu Kishi-sama, Tadaima Isekai e Odekakechuu" is of "Overlord".

I agree, though it would have been more entertaining than what it was, for me at least.

I saw that show the other day and honestly it's preeetty different from Overlord. Only thing in common is that both are OP skeletons
